Hello. I am thinking of buying a SYM 200. I have one concern. As you know, some of the car park in singapore building the slope is steep and high. I pillion a passenger which is around 60 kg and myself is also 60 kg. SYM 200 has the power? My current 125cc bike cannot make it.

Bicycles also can make it. 60kg x 2 is quite lightweight, even folding bikes can take 120kg.

Possibly your 125cc clutch is probably worn or there's something seriously wrong with the engine.

Or unless he's going up a 90 degrees slops.

You know the building Breadtalk in tai seng street. That is the car park I refer to. Very steep.

I never been to that carpark before but the steepest I've experienced is 313 Orchard. If it's same steepness, then no problem. 200cc sure no problem one! Not to mention mine is a Honda 125cc Cub.

Hi ppl,

Sorry for the late response and thanks for all the replies...busy with work and festivities lah...

I have attached a pic of the temp guage...is this 2 bars or 4 bars...got blue and white ones so better take a photo so we all on the same page.

jus wondering if this kind of temp reading is normal..it does go back down to the first white bar after moving for a while.

Rickchoo, your bike still run-in? if yes, this is normal. happen on myself fews time when stationary and sometime riding... as long as the temp come down back will be fine.

understand...once i tried riding a 125cc scoot up a slope in phuket....the one at one end of patong beach....went up half way and it refused to move upwards anymore...me and my pillion about 150kg....but think 200cc in sg shouldnt have much problems lah..the 200gts always seems to outrun my phantom at traffic lights or on the highway..

Yeah, agree. Fast pickup for bikes is best.
