Just got myself a GTS 200 last week and loving it although I paid :

 

$215 : new starter motor

$65 : Volt meter

 

volt meter $65 bucks ? so expensive.. im scrapping my GTS 200 soon.. some parts available

michelin should be good enough.. otherwise pirelli but they always have no stock

hey bro not the same. best is to check the part number of the belt that you purchase before making any replacement.

 

Is the joymax 300i using the same BELT with malaysia's joymax 205I?

Any one on Joyride 200i Evo using aftermarket suspensions.

 

Went for oil change and motortiam point out my tyres uneven wear and suggests it's due to the stock sym suspension.

 

Quoted $180 with installation.

I brought my Joymax300i to a bike shop in Bukit Batok on 16 July for tyre change. the mechanic pointed out to me that my tires are worn out flat in the middle when it should have been roundish. I rode my bike out after the tire change and felt that my bike is tending very much to the left. so i went back to the bike shop and then they told me that the steering cone needs changing but they do not have the parts. Hence I left my bike there and went for my biz trip.

 

They claimed they could not get me on my mobile and called me everyday. the number is correct but they just can't get me on my mobile. I did not get any missed calls, and I have been receiving other calls to my mobile. i called them yesterday to collect my bike.

 

turns out that something was stuck when they tried to remove the steering thing that is connected to the front fork. Now they need to change the entire thing which is gonna cost my $400 plus instead of steering cone only which costs $180.

 

They claimed that this was what my bike was and they didn't damage it. However, i pointed out that this is 2nd time i changed my tires, in another shop, there were no issues back then. but when i changed my tires here, i have more problems.

 

I suspect that they have damaged it but it is their words against mine..... so i do not have a choice but to ask them to go ahead and change the part. How do we challenge them if they damaged our bikes and claimed it against us?

I went to Future scootering

Then difficult to claim anything against them. Usually i will avoid those well known crowded shops. The volume of bikes they do everyday makes it hard for them to do each bike well. All very rush n no qc at all

When I put my bike on main stand, lifted the front tyre, then turned my steer to the right, it turned to the left automatically. I don't suppose that is normal, eh?

I had the same problem also and in the end after alot of drama, changed the fork spring and fork oil, fork oil seal solved the problem

sorry to hear your experience.. maybe u might want to check the steering cone to see if there is any problem bro

Hi guys I just got a GTS 200 with a box. However, I would like to replace the box with the pillion backrest. Any idea where can I get the pillion backrest?

how much is it?

Also, any good recommendation for servicing in the west?

When do I have to do basic/full service?

Hi guys , I have just bought sym jokeride 200 for 2 months after riding for few weeks i decided to change my engine oil for safety purpose as i didnt know when the previous owner have change the engine oil. Before change the engine oil i do not encounter when closing throttle there is a sudden jerk which seem to be engine brake and also like losing of power when moving off but after change the engine oil ,when ever i close the throttle there is a sudden jerk like engine brake and also losing of power when moving off. Any bro here can enlighten me which is the engine oil to change is more suitable for my scooter.( i didnt notice what engine oil he have change as he said is the most exp and good engine oil which cost $22) Thks in advance bro

hi bro jj88 , thks alot for ur reply . As i have no idea when the belting was change as i bought it from dealer . wow.. my engine oil cost me 22 dollar as urs cost less then 10 dollar so shoudlnt go back to the same shop which located bukit batok vicom inspection centre opposite which i forget the name..so any idea any best shop at bukit batok which can be recommend bro. Thks alot appreciate...
