varas $400 enuf for a h&b liao? hehehe btw i wanted to put on sidebox instead of top one den now my fren who bought a vara125 fx wanna give another top box dunno wat brand see it goes...enjoy!

 

sable how often ya pump ya tires n how far u go n how heavy is the weight u carry?

me abt once a week but if i ride more 600km a week den twice plus lubricate chain wif rock oil n put normal oil for clutch n gear stuff ah...hehehe!

 

but den again check u put the correct kpa n if ya tires r old juz change cuz life is more precious den $$

Yupe!!!!! I experienced tt B4!!!!

the night b4 i pumped to 220, next morning test again, it dropped to ard 150!!!

i didnt know there is a leakage until my bro told coz he find the handle bar hard to turn ard when in stop. when i went to let the mechanic check den i realise the air inlet was spoilt and was leaking badly.... believe was damaged when changing the tyre. wat the mechanic did was change the inlet can liao, 5 bucks

to confirm this... some one could voleenter their speedo... lah *hehe* exchange with one whos speedo is faulty for 1 wk.. to see if speedo or wires is faulty...

looks at its meter.. looks good...

 

feel like swopping his meter with mine man.. *hehehe*

Ur tire valve could be leaking.

Which means during the fitting of the tire to the rim, the mechanic did not do a proper job.

Put soap water on the valve with cap opened and see if there's any bubbles.

Also check the age of the tire. If it's more than 3 years old that could be the other source of problem.

Any queries on going about to check the source of ur tire problem give me a call at 91076856 dun worry free incoming. I try to find out the source of the problem as best as I can.

U strip the meter apart b4? How does it works? Electromagnetic? Maybe there are some electrical coil in the meter and it's out of order already? Or another hunch I have is that could it be the battery? How old is it? Cos for electrical fualt, the first culprit that comes to my mind is the power source.

Just a hunch. Hope it helps with ur meter investigation....

Got it during the motor show. $10800, everything in.

Crashbar $220. at Dunlop Street. I think it is the left over from the mass-order.

 

My office is there too but I moved around thats why bought the Vara.

For brand new vara ard 10K.

 

It is actually kinda cross breed, a tour/off-road??....

 

Comet/Roadwin....seating position more of sports; short distance okay but not for long distance. They are using some older versions of Jap engines;if i am not wrong.

 

Vara; it is very much tested in UK, france and some other europe countries.....Seating position high and of touring type...comfortable for long distance.....

 

Fuel consumption; not sure for COmet/Roadwin....Vara; I am achieving around 30 - 32 km/hr (conservative figures)

Hornet69>>> to be honest...i will be bias...but hopefully i can help you which bike to buy....for me...i buy the bike which look nice and fierce....that will be vara...got the look, got the style, touring bike, compare to comet and roadwin..i still think vara is big....furthermore...this bike is durable...i go KL with 3/4 tank...no need to refuel along the way....i test the bike to genting...Power!...eheheh...buy the bike which u really like...u wont regret it...trust me...furthermore,....u can change the tyres to road tyres like mine....if u bought the bike, it will come with semi off-road....if u feel that buying first hand is expensive, buy second hand...got class 2..buy GS, v-storm or vara 1k....
