Hi all Vara Bros!!!

 

Yesterday's trip was really great. My 1st time travelling all the way up to Gunung Ledang by bike. Even my mum couldn't believe that i did it And being the last rider in the line makes it even more fun, can take my own sweet time to look around, hehehe...

PORT DICKSON SPORTS RANCH . Do you guys interested in goin ..... it will a new experience for us joining another group for touring . Posted here is the exceprt from the post .

Gunung Ledang Trip>>> It was fun, exciting and tiring....to be honest...me and my gf feel very tired compared to the KL trip....It was really an experience for me...the problems that we encountered...at the end of the day....no one is left behind!....that what i like!... ....wish could go there again...but not on public holiday man!...imagine bukit timah nature reserve packed with people...when i say packed with people...imagine...people at Bazaar Geylang during the fasting month or Chinatown packed with people during CNY...phew!...Hope those bikers who went did learn a thing or two...personally i did...especially how to use the air cannister...eheheh...thats was funny people!...I salute Dakar...he is willing to sacrifice himself before us in case anything happened!...ehehehhe.... .....joking only bro....

1. i fix up da LEDS tail lite oredi 28 bulbs altogether looks damn nice like gixxer k3, plus additional leds for brakin too.....aikon u gotta see how cool n da grin on some s4 rider seeing my LEDS on a p plater...power ah bro...hehehe!

 

2. bought da foot pump too n looking for my cable ties, silicon glue too....very simple stuff but very important, since i got alot of room wif my side pannier......

 

3. dakar actually da food at r & r gp very nice, like niti said da burger damn nice n tasty.....so nice trip anjung warisan, makan atas pokok, been there once but not really sure how to go anyone know it?

and how much does it cost u?

 

something unrelated.. today .. first time i change engine oil my self.... quite exciting and well dirty at the same time... the whole process.. quite easy if you dont mind getting your hands dirty with oil...

 

but One problem.. as i was screwing in the oil filter cap ...when the screws are all the way in.. i screwed in one of the screws till it was tight... then i proceeded to screw in tightly the other.. but ... seems like.. canrt seem to tighten it..

the more i turn.. i got get the tighnss feeling.. so turn and turn until.. the scre head FELL OFF!!!!!!!

 

den i freak out !! scre head fell off.. screw broke into 2 bits.. the threads.. in side head on the floor! trhen only one screw holding the oil filter cap!!!

 

WTF.. am i going to do?

 

seeem i guess.. if i could drill the screw.. to pieces.. i guess i could extract it.. but where to get power for a power drill from the car park???

 

and what if i screw up.. and mess up the engine case??!!!!

 

so.. anyways i went to a nearby bike shop.. and well $10 later... problem solved..

 

the uncle remove the oil filter cap.... took a small chisel.. knock the remaining thread.. slowing.. turining it out.. *took about few minutes. of knocking..* then with enough thread exposed the managed ot use pincers to turn it out.. replace with new screws.. and well earn his deserved $10..

 

 

So a tip for those guys who wanna replace ur oil filter.. if your screw cant seem to tighten... take it out!!!!!!!!!

head lite halogen m5 35 watts, 12volt $8 a pair

 

my almost fully accessoried vara125 total juz $1k, side panniers, top box, extra lites, tires, chain sproket.....hehehe!
