The only thing left to do now is get the blessings from my mum. So now must start to 'carry' her a bit already. Hopefully all should be ok :cheeky:

something to bring up...got some tips from a very experienced vara rider....but he no longer rides a vara....

anyone had encounter this problem before....the clutch cable snapped....

found out the reason why....if u look closely at the clutch cable on the right side near our foot rest and foot break....when u clutch in...the wires will rub against the screw....and occasionally rubbing will make the wires wear and eventually snapped in the long run....

so to solve this problem...this gentleman i met advice me to bend the screw a bit so that when u r clutching in the clutch cable won't rub against the screw....

tomorrow when u start ur bike....take a look closely at the clutch movement...

i was impressed on this guy on how he know so much detail bout the bike....when i moved off....i suddenly realized that he was my neighbour...used to ride a red vara125....now riding st11.....believe he's one of the pioneers....

Abattory or Yem_paul >>> u happen to know this malay gentleman? he is married to a caucasion...live in sengkang...

Anyway i had the same experience when i was riding my Vara 125 ... cost me 50 bucks for towing services because it was midnight then. Probably something to take note about especially the Thailand trippers.

Aikon> Brother, did you call or message me yesterday night? Right now I'm out of town, will be back on Sunday morning but busy also. Going for the "Yellow Ribbon Project" at GV Marina Square. I'll be there from 11am to 4 pm. Well, mainly to support the offenders to reintegrate back to society.

As part of this, I will be selling people the Yellow Ribbon. So if you saw a guy wearing a Vara Polo, that's me. At the same time, promoting our group if happens that some other off-forum vara riders saw the logo.

Hope you guys, will support this project also lah... dun mistaken me as an ex-offender, I'm from Prison Department. heehee.. thanks guys. Oh yeah, that day while jogging along Llord Leas Centre (a rehab program centre at Changi near to the Army camp) saw a vara 125 parking there, does any of you know any one working there??
