Embrace > received your number via PM. Will try to work something out

Hideaway > im not going to ask you to make any choices. Maybe what you can do is to convince them that you will ride safe (e.g wont ride during wet ground or avoid heavy traffic etc etc until you are au fait with riding ) of cos you gotta make good your promises

Next also bring up good points of vara that due to its size, makes other road users easier to spot. Having wider tyres making it having more grip/contact with the ground. Etc etc. Of cos you are not going to tell them bad points of the bike that makes riding unsafe.

Of cos we know that sometimes, even if its not the riders' fault, we could also get into accident as well. Its just that we have to try all means to reduce all possiblities. E.g Safer distance, safer speed, more concentration, etc.

Both your friends who had accident, what's their ride?

Haha, both my gf and my mum are concerned about my safety. . . As for my friends that buang. . . one is a TA200 phantom and the other is a KTM.. but I not sure how many cc for the Kuat Telan Minyak scrambler . . . just know that its a motard. For the phantom, its a HnR case, hit and run ....

Well guys, I will be spending time to convince them ~ :cheeky:

In the mean time, I would be looking into a 2nd hand vara or a new one.

Could you bros help me look into it ?

By the way, is there a difference between the insurance of age 26 and 27?

My friends were saying that the next cross over is at Age 27? Cheaper?

Thanks,

Hiding away again ~ Going back to camp.. sighz .. I hate night duties....

the difference for insurance is as follows;

20-24

25-29

30-34....and so on..

So i believe u belong to the 25-29 age category....if u get 2nd party or 3rd party fire and theft should be around $300 or less. Those panel of expert who falls in this category please confirm.

As for 2nd hand bike, Mah Pte Ltd at Serangoon still has one. But expect a very high price from Mah. Plate is FW7575 if im not wrong. :goodluck:

If you keep logging in u'll be lucky enough to find some of the guys here letting go of their vara..... Anyone

My insurance with mitsui last year at age 26 for 3rd party fire & theft was S$304/=

Prior to that , I did asked NTUC and they quoted over S$700/=. (Same 3rd party fire & theft) I wonder why the difference in more than 100%

Embrace>>> Of coz brother...even at 40km/h can injure people....but vara doesnt have top end when you need most....dun tell when you travel on NSH...you juz open your throttle and overtake...and the bike will response responsively to your throttle....i dun think so....thats what VARA makes you better rider...you need to plan your actions before you can act....then once you act out your actions...only then your actions acted by the actor which you...once action is completed or you are done overtaken...it was a good act...i muz say....:cheeky:

Hideaway>>> Insurance...i dun know that much...i once paid for my vara $404 under NTUC...now i am paying $404 for my S4 under AXA life...the only NTUC advantage is...there have branches everywhere in SG...thats it...nothing else...thats my opinion..
