hideaway >>> no worries doode.. the bike will serve you well.. moreover if you're looking to stay with the touring bike design there isn't much in the 2A range so if you have the cash later on, then keep the VARA125 for 2 years.. some of the guys here although with class 2, already find it hard to let their bikes go.. i like arai helmets.. some of the guys here are using.. good chioce on the $600+ arai helmet! to console yourself.. the design of your bike is tried and tested.. the FI VARA125, while i'm sure is an awesome bike, hasn't been put through its paces yet.. so there is no need to console yourself.. there is only 1 helmet that can fit in the HB 30l pannier.. an MHR one.. Al-Simmons has one.. HB flash with rack is $920.. SW motech crashbar is $320.. you can get a custom fabricated one from first motor also.. not sure of the price.. it's good that u know how long you wanna keep the bike and what you plan to do in 2 years.. good decision making!

hideaway>>>>what toobes said is true...vara125 is a easy-to-maintain bike...not much worries...althou it dosent has the speed n pick-up but look how far some of our brothers here ride a vara 125 to...i ever came across tiz chap at a makan place at pasir ris sakura...he came up to me n said " is tiz the vara125 the slowest bike in town" den i was like yea y? he says " nuthin im amazed u would spend so much to pimp up ur very slow bike" i reply with a smile and i said to him " if u find that my bike is slow you should see my other bike" den he ask " what other bike your riding?" guess what i reply to him " Its For Me To Know, For You To Find Out" and i just left him with a smile.....when i turn around n see him he was looking at me with a blank face...hahaha it was fun....what im try to say here my brothers never to be demoralized by what people think of our bikes....even if they are riding a 2300cc bike also dont bother by what negetive remarks they spoke of....and hideaway it is hard for me to sell of my vara but next year perhaps i have to let her go.....
