hei easyriding, how have you been lately?? as for my speaker i am still thinking where to install actuall i have already did but then no time to fix it and even if i have decided on where to install i have no time coz i have to put my bike in the workshop for between one to two days and my wheels is my another set of legs so if its gone then i am handicap....

hey varadero riders out there,

 

i used to ride a Varadero125. was an amazing bike. but i kept a secret from my parents until one day they found out that i was riding. absurd as it was my dad saw me riding on CTE while he was driving his car and followed me till i came to a stop to confirm that it's me.

 

just sold my baby and he got a small car. Nissan March 1.0M. and after having a car, i so want to go back to riding. driving a car is expensive, but putting that aside. i've been thru many traffic jams and see bikes zooming past. damn missed those days. parking is another problem, not price that matters but finding an empty lot. and getting to places on a given time is hard to predict.

 

anyone has deals on 2nd hand Vara please do let me know. i still want to secretly ride.

brader you need to (wear a riding jacket, wear full face helmet (the type with the scrambler cap on top) with very little visor area, wear gloves. have a box (or cover it so no one can see ur bag color or design) *CHANGE! SHOES!* when u ride *shoe put in the box*...then maybe....will not get caught....

 

if you need to find another vara125 *heheh*... i can part with it in 1-2 months time...

weird >> IMO, fitting a sound system on a vehicle won’t take that long. maybe, a few hrs job only. do consider the rain factors when fitting one.

I need to buy a crashbar, undercowl, and mainstand for my (stock!) bike. I was going to call Boon Siew next week to see how much and how long; but maybe I should ask at BikeTech too.

Im going to hold off on buying panniers for a month of two; my (far too glossy) OGF topbox will do until then. I dont like leaving my helmet in it though as it feels that it would be easy to crack open. Thinking of a quality top box, but not one that looks like singapore post. And then some side panniers for trips to MLY.

Hmmm my bike is acting strangely. It died three times while moving off at the lights; twice leaving me stranded in middle of the road trying to restart it! Not much fun.

 

The bike would'nt rev - low/mid/full throttle was barely 1k RPM and after about 10 seconds it spluttered and died. After starting it again, it had no power for about 10-15 seconds then it started running ok again. This happened three times;

pretty much the same every time. I had to make sure the bike could rev up past 4k before disengaging the clutch in case it did it again. On the highway it ran fine; this only happened at the lights. I had done 170km since the last fill so I though it should be half full; I switched to reserve anyhow and it happened once more. A visit to a petrol station only took 8 litres to fill it; so it was not out of juice.

The bike was serviced at ASPhoon last week (when I bought it) - but something is definitely still wrong - has anyone experienced this before?

bro i have never exprience it before but i think there are a few possibllites....your filter might be dirty,your rectifier is dying or your spark plug...if you haven't done your servicing then i think you should and if your shop that you bought your bike gave you a free servicing then you go ahead...but this time look at whats happening bro and not smoke while he changing it and ask him to check your rectifier..... i mayn't be a good vara advisor but this is just an idea.....

Anyone knows where to get a Curb Cleaner from STP?? I can only find the fuel injector cleaner that comes in a black bottle. I finding the curburator cleaner thats comes in a white bottle.
