Hi guys, apa khabar??? Lately, I have been noticing my clutch lever has a lot of free play and I feel, maybe the clutch cable is giving way soon.... anyone knows the cost of replacing and also, anyone knows how to DIY?

 

BTW, when are we going to lepak at KG again....SB too far lah sometimes....

 

BTW, Wady, wanna spray your Vara to this colour and add in the head?

Ah... I go jogging at East coast on weekends, Woodlands or Sengkang on weekdays. You can join me if u want to, Weekends (Morning) , Weekdays (In-camp training)

looks like the reserve coolant reservoir...which is supposed to be on the left side..

or maybe the primary coolant reservoir...just shift back a bit...

 

specialc >>> clutch cable around $35-40 at FJT....i think once u look at it can figure out urself to diy...

Erm. Asking something, Our Vara Heads is it can be change like Super 4 head or RXZ head or not?

i don't think so bro... coz if you look closely bothside fairing comes in one piece and if you change the head then the whole look would deffer....

SpecialC >> to reduce free play, tighten the locking nut/washer at the lever end. it helps to lubricate the cable periodically. one suggestion though. once you gotten that spare, best to lay it out along side the ‘expiring’ cable. bundle it up together with some cable ties and packed both ends with waterproof sheet. trust me, it’ll save the trouble later somewhere down the road

 

 

 

looks like the reserve coolant reservoir...which is supposed to be on the left side..

or maybe the primary coolant reservoir…

most likely....current coolant reservoir is at the bottom left ‘pocket’ of the side panel close to the radiator. so he must have reposition it to blend in with the new look.

Thanks buddy....I will go and buy next week when I am more free.

 

Anyway, if you guys want Walkies, I have 2...one is not so good condition...but useable....a Panasonic one but no ear piece and VOX. The other one is a new one which I use for my Sepang trips.... a watch one.... with VOX thru a ear piece... can loan to you if u want. But I need it back before 8th December as I will be heading up for a end of the year blast again.

ever thought of fixing sticker around your board just like the cars that they paste stickers on the exteriors... i think that would be cheaper depending on the quality of the sticker and the workmanship... so maybe i might see a WRX vara on the road...
