i would advise not to get a 2nd hand bike... u will end up paying up more for the repairs... might as well jus save the cash for a brand new one where u wont have to worry much... cheers!

Many of the brothers here would beg to differ ... There are instances where owners do not have to repair anything after collecting a 2nd hand bike. It always comes down to how well the previous owner take good care of the bike ...

 

I would go for 2nd hand bike unless i have that lump sump of money to pay off the bike ... How many years do you intend to keep a bike? till COE expired? ... Not many people will do that ... Few years down the road hands and backside begins to itch ... New models came up ... Your kakis start to upgrade ... Plus the depreciation value ... Minds start to go astray ...

 

I wouldn't say buying a new bike is a bad choice. I bought my Vara brand new back then but I didn't make much bucks when i let it go. Back then Vara was still not noticeable. But now owning a Vara seems like a good investment. Whatever it is price of a motor vehicle will still depreciate yearly. Plus if you sign a long term installment you might have problem selling if off at your desired price.

 

Vara125 is relatively problem free bike. I'veyet to see much of the FT and FU series selling at bike shop that often. I assume it's serving it's current owner's very well. But this is just a one man's views.

 

It's all back to a rider's preference. There's no perfect answer for this. No bible to justify and No pun intended here. Just a personal view. Ask for advise before committing.

Not really true....if u get from one of our guys here...most likely u'll save a lot..

most of them have taken good care of the bike....anyway if u have any problem with the bike can meet the previous owner and let him troubleshoot for you...

u can try to look at some of those posted on the garage sales.

And the accessories costs quite a bit bro. Trust me. You would want to put accessories. Choice is still yours. Ride Safe.

For Cash wise, yes i agree...But buying a brand new bike u got to pay downpayment min $2k+ thats a lot for the start...But buying a 2nd hand im also headache:giddy:

 

As if the bike is fully paid for and i have to find a reloan. How much can i loan?

 

Another if COI, i have to pay say dwnpayment $500++ to the buyer and upfront atleast 3 mths installment, paper work etc etc....Wouldnt that come to the same as a new bike payment...

 

NEW bike OTR $11k+ / - 2nd hand round 7k+ diffs abt 4k..I also dunno what to do now...haveing a bad headache these pass few days..

The Binelli is really kewl... look like the masked rider bike.. Hmm guys u think if i take off the tank bra, put a mud guard at rear wheel, then spray the colour yellow like that, will look like the Benelli... Hmm,ideas ideas... then put Leo Vince Pipe..confirm pple think its 750cc.. Hahahaha...

I am new to this forum. Hoping to make friends with fellow vara riders and also learn more abt this bike.

 

I have just purchase a 2nd hand vara abt 2wk ago and it's due for service soon. The previous owner send it to agent but i think its going to be very the $$ exp$$

 

Any suggestion?
