Hi guys, i've attained a vara125 fr someone but the chain and spocket apparently needs to be changed very soon. the nice ex-owner did recommend going to his shop to change for a more affordable set, altogether about 130+(not e branded type). he said i could go to motoworld to change(better and more branded set) but would cost abt 200+. mentioned the unbranded set could last abt 1 yr n the branded one a little longer. have u guys changed e set from motoworld b4? n if so u noe exactly about how much? anyone wanna change tog then we can get better price or what? i would also appreciate if anyone could tell me how much a undercrowl costs(e thing tht covers the front manifold(exhaust tubing)? sorry am a noob at varas... first "touring" type of bike.

thanks a million for any advice!

try to get the stock sprockets from FJT (Rowell Road)...

stock combi is 44 rear - 14 front...will cost u around 130 for both..

chain is around 100-130 (DID or RK) o-ring or x-ring..

for the undercowl...ask some of the owners who have just make theirs either the fabricated ones or u can visit http://www.davidsilverspares.com..

if u need directions to davidsilverspares...can ask Niti

terribly sorry gents but i have to pull out of this. some personal matters

demanding immediate attention that will definitely not be resolved by thursday.

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

The willows green the river shore,

I hear my love singing in a boat.

Its sunny in the east, raining in the west.

It seems the sun is hidden but love is in the air.

Duke - U can go to First Motors at Blk 3006 Ubi there.... jus beside the TP HQ. I think they are still doing it... Undercowl around $90... if need to weld mounting points as mentioned the other time I asked Ah An with Flareon, think need extra $60 more.... so total $150...

Finally the forum is up but now then I got to know. hahahha.

To the GP riders earlier> sorrie gota make a move 1st cos getting too late. Mr Cinderella needs to be home if not my ride will turn to bicycle

Aikon > I like my investment very much. Tks a million for the M.O sire..

Pyok > nice meeting you too bro. Whats the next project?

EasyRiding > Did you take a much longer route just to make sure i didnt lost my way? Pai Seh man.... Tks for making sure that my ride did not turn to a bicycle.... heheh

Anyway, just wan to add my two cents...... having M.O is a difficult thing. Just in case fellow brothers didnt know, AIKON had a real difficult time tryin to get the M.O to work. In the end, he had to fork out his own $ to buy the remaining Scottoiler as some of the bros have to pull out due to various reasons. So, I just need the bros' help to assist AIKON to spread the word to sell the extra scottoiler. Cos I think we owe AIKON ............BIG TIME.

Come early June , a few of the brothers here will be buying quite a handful of stuffs at Regina. What Im thinking of is maybe all meet up and buy on the same day the things we want and hopefully we could get our stuffs cheaper. I'll start the ball rolling.

1) WAI - Shoei Multitec (Confirm), Cheapo gloves (Confirm), FORMA Riding boots (70% getting)

2)

How much is the scottoiler? Is it useful? Think of getting one if it is good enough to make me stop lifting the bike up just to lupe the chains every 3 to 4 days....

Need to get my first pay first.... So many things to buy...
