Just that i have lots of experience when faster bikes leave me behind in malaysia and their reason? I'm too slow -.-

If they really did that to you, my advice is not to ride with them.

When you ride with Al-Simmons, they go together and return together, no one will be left behind.

you have been mixing around with the wrong group of riders....

there's no point of me writing up a 3000 words essay like what datuk intends to write....at the end of the day...it's ur choice...

the riders who have rode before with this wonderful bunch of people knows how it feels like to ride...

should i refresh again some of the rides where there are vara125 and bigger cc bikes....

hatyai, phuket, coast 2 coast, betong, fraser hill, penang :dot:

can ask datuk when his rear suspension fails and have to ride 80km/h on NSH on the way back from Betong...

or toobez when his front sprocket chip off and ride 60-80km/h from Gua Musang back to GP...

there's always somebody behind looking after you...and most of these times the rider behind is the 'faster bikes'....

and the only comment they can give you is that you are riding too fast, perhaps you should slow down and don't rush, your safety is more important...

whatever happens the last bike will wait for you...

If they really did that to you, my advice is not to ride with them.

When you ride with Al-Simmons, they go together and return together, no one will be left behind.

Think I should add... When my bike was down due to battery problem, it was towed by a bigger CC bike with datok riding my faulty bike and he let me rode his while he push and get towed.......The rest of the bikes big or small CC were helping to clear the traffic, making sure that my bike is safe.

Ask ard..... I always wanted to be the last man but Niti ,Yem , Toobez, Al-Simmons (and many other outriderz) would never let me knowing that Im inexperience and not really good at bikes and routes. They are always there when you need someone to watch your back.............and arse.

Perhaps, other group leave the rest of the slower bikes in the lurch. But it nevers happens to our group and never happened before as an outriderz. And I hope that it would never happen in the future.

Having been in the group for sometime, I have lost track of the number of outriderz I owe favour to.

By riding together and as often as you can , it builds the camaraderie within the group.

Just would like to add my 2 cents worth......

we used to have many many "last mintue" trips to no where but now.....everyone worry about bike cannot make it e.t.c.....

and talking about waiting...sometime we got some "techinical hitch" all of us will stay without "hard feeling" till early morning and we enjoy it very much and we will SURE get out of JB together....hahahaha....

For the rest of the new riders, perhaps this is an opportunity for you to join, ride together and get to noe each other better. Regardless of whatever bikes we ride or experience we have, I believe all of us here share the same interest and hope to gain a lot from it. Why not all of us go for a ride and understand what the 'spirit' al-simmons mentioned is all about.. :thumb:

As much as i would like to let this past, I have to clarify some issues. First of all it is very obvious that you are trying to be sarcastic with me here. Well, i take it with a pinch of salt. If you want to use your experience to try to lecture me, I accept it if you are giving good advice. Not criticising my riding or the way i ride. I know who are the really genuine ones here and who are not. Well, I know that some of us here have gotten our bikes not long and have not go on any trips with you. That does not mean that you can put us down like how you did to Byma some time back in post #18174. If you have some advice for us, I would prefer if you tell us our problem properly rather than pouring cold water on us.

1) Did i say i was scared when i got left behind? Please find me the sentence. I was just saying that they were complaining that i was too slow.

2) It's not about whether i dare or not, more of whether is it worth it doing that. With your experience i think that you should be more mature than to say that bro.

3) Did i post that i wanted to buy anything in this thread? I guess your eyes must be playing tricks on you then.

So i guess before you decide to play hero and try to be sarcastic with anyone, please get your facts right first ok BABY? :thumb:

It's not how fast you ride, but how well you ride.

One more thing, your post #18309, that 'techinical' is typo error or its the same case as your "Toyota Starter"?

Hello! Can I add on something? I've never ride a Vara 125 before and currently I'm not riding a Vara 125. When I had my first day trip with Wai, Datuk, Demon and Rudinko, I was riding a Wave125 and I was very slow and really very slow compared to theirs. But one thing which I am very sure of is I've never been left behind as the last rider despite my speed. Till today, though I have changed to a 400cc, again I've never been left as the last bike. The very basic reason is because of the experiences and not the speed of the bike. A good and experienced group of riders will definitely care for his fellow riders irregardless of the volume of the bike. I'm saying all these is not to make you choose the group, but a clearer picture of how the group, Outriderz, is.

Bro Aikon> Been looking fwd to this. Will be my 3rd yr running, man!!

Bro Daniyal & Newtsuit> How, going also?

Hey ppl, the first time I took this trip defined my beloved Vara 125 for me personally. Rode 100+km in hard continuous rain avoiding huge potholes on NS highway, rode on trunk roads semi and sometime fully covered in fast-running mud-water which came up to our knees, shocked villagers and 4-wheelers alike only to bring some relief aids to ppl severely affected by the floods. The look on their faces when they saw us and spoke with us: PRICELESS. My appreciation of my 125cc varadero which saw me safe home through all that: PRICELESS.

And my deep thanks for Bro Aikon who SHOWED the way and WENT the way and has always looked out for me.

If my opinion ever counted, none of the class 2/2a bikers here (outriders) whom I have had the honor to ride with have never left me or any fellow class 2b riders during trips I participated. Not only have they waited for me when I had some bike issues, they helped and most importantly we came back safe together.

So all new vara riders, if you have been maintaining yr bike properly, your ride is bullet proof, believe it. Plus, the NS highway has been repaved decently since. So, come join the Outriderz Voluntour Ride 2009.

Do it once and do it right
