I sent my vara to Boon Siew to change EO and Oil Filter yesterday. In addition, they also did the following checks:

 

Functional Checks

• Lights/Warning Lights
  
• Instruments Gauges
  
• Horn Operation
  
• Engine Starting Ability
  
• Ignition Cut-off Switch
  
• Engine Performance
  
• Handle Bar
  
• Gear Shift
  

 

Visual Checks

• Engine Oil Level
  
• Brake Fluid Level
  
• Coolant Level
  
• Brake Pads & Discs (Front and Back)
  
• Shock Absorbers (Front and Back)
  
• Drive Chain / Sprockets
  
• Clutch Cable and Throttle Cable
  
• Air Filter
  

 

Check for Leaks

• Engine Compartment
  
• Transmission
  
• Engine Cooling System
  
• Fuel System
  
• Exhaust System
  
• Brake System
  

 

They found that my air-filter was dirty and changed it for me . . . very x . . . $143 after 25% discount.

 

Power delivery seems more smooth after the oil and air filter change.

 

Tot I share this especially to newbies like me . . . so that when they send bike to other shops for service, they can as for some of this checks

guys need ur advise... as u noe new bike now the headlight in always on once u turn on ignition.. I wish to install a switch that can control the headlight and the pole light.. can that be done, is it legal?

i heard that installing a switch is considered as "illegal" modification.. cause i was told that the ride was made to come without the headlight switch and anyway bikes are supposed to on headlight as long as your moving..
