hi guys,

found a place at town (CBD Area) along Lim Kim Teck Road; there you see the 24 hours coffee shop....operated by Indian Muslim selling prata and stuffs. Went there to pick wife after her class around 11pm; still got many people.

Didn't try the food but the teh terik, not the best but of good standard...

Just sharing another hangout. For direction; click this

Try to come in from Hoe Chiang Road, into the small lane between OAC Bldg & Euro-Asia Centre; there can park "anyhow" at night.

Cheers

Teflon - Tetra-fluro Ethylene Resin (Generally known as TFE or PTFE).

It has good chemical resistance and temperature resistance (can still function at a constant temperature of 120degC). It's strength is higher than normal rubber due to its composition.........etc.

For the above differences, the difference in a few bucks is worth it.

Cheers

Hi Guys...

Changed my fork oil seal just now. The Teflon one...

Something I like to correct. It's thirty dollars for one fork. So a pair costs $60/-.

More than expected but their workmanship seems good and I still think it's worth it and cheaper than most places...

You can put it around the swim-arm on the left side of your rear tyre.

U can also have it placed at the engine block just below the fairing. Hidden from the rain...

The best tyre repair kit will be the one with the rubber plug...

Can get it at Mustaffa. Have it in my office.

Two tools: One for poking and the other for plugging.

Dun forget to have the rubber sealants too.

Extract the object piercing the tyre.

Then use the poking tool and pierce the hole at the same angle as the piercing object that u extracted.

Last use the plug tool with the rubber seal and insert into the cleared hole.

Then twist while pulling out.

Dun forget to trim the balance on the tyre surface for even profile...

After all this pump ur tyre to proper pressure then u can have fun again...

Try not to buy tires that exceed a year of storage,

Tires after 3 years should not be used. At ur own risk.

To check tire age, there's 4 digit combination printed on the sidewall.

2503 means manufactured on the 25th week of year 2003.

Prolong storage causes ozoning which results in cracking.

Another thing about the tires is that make sure the place that u change ur tires, the mechanic knows wat he is doing.

There are coloured dots on the tire.

Yellow dot means lightest portion of the tire.

Red dot means heaviest portion of the tire.

There is also sometimes a green dot but forgot wat that means.

Usually the yellow dot is fit on to the valve area.

Make sure it is loaded in the correct direction and balancing is done to ensure proper weight distribution.
