Perhaps the new KTM 200 duke. http://www.ktm.com/hu/naked-bike/200-duke.html

Reliability to be determined, but it looks good, is big enough, has more power and weighs less than the vara. Probably better in every way except pillion comfort and range between refueling.

Hi There,

Can anyone help me with a few of these questions i have about Vara 125? Been searching around the net bout found nothing concrete. Is it a good touring bike? As i'm used to travelling far and ard 100-120km/hr on the cb400, i don't know wether vara can do this as well. And how about maintainance? What is the rough price for tyres etc? Thanks guys!

My vara V6 can travelling at 100-120km/hr, no sweat.

What's AT handle bar Bro?

So far I'm still using the original bar cause waiting for my new windscreen than will consider handle bar, worried handle locking will be block by windscreen

Windscreen prize is fine...get one.

Also looking for suitable handguard. Let me me renew my COE first than continue with other projects

AT = Africa Twin Handlebar. It's height more matching with tall screen as stock handlebar too low.

Roughly how much will it cost?

Do I need to replace the holder?

Only thing worrying me is the Handle AT handler bar will hit my windscreen & unable to lock the handle.

Anyway thanks for the tip

Bro, count me in. I'm want to get at handlebar also. Tankbra from motoworld....if got sliver color, i might consider. ermax windshield 06 below got the cut out edge which i don't like. I'm eyeing on Givi windshield cost $150 as per Harveer. you saw fatt86 windshield before? is it givi or ermax?

Not bad idea...let me know & mean time anyone interested in Leo Vince exhaust. Unique prize at $626 including installation but inspection on your own. Can pay installment with some credit card.

If we are can talk to Unique to reduce prize....pls advice

AT handlebars are amazing, tankbag, maybe, if you actually need the space, handguards are also a good investment but the exhaust? It's SO DAMN EXPENSIVE and has next to zero functionality.

Ah, also, people worry too much about the windshield, in the end whatever you have makes very little difference, the bike is too slow for the windshield to actually do its job.

If u fix the AT handlebar and use ermax windshield, u will nit be able to lock ur handlebars. I have used original/givi/ermax windshield. My take is that ermax windshield does allow lesser rain to hit me.....but thats just me lah. I agree on the cut out edge of ermax windshield being fugly. If u use givi, prepare to have u head move left and right when buffeted by winds when u go 90km/h and above. Just my 2 cents.
