BTW, on my bike in 5th gear it's like this:

80km/h at 7200

90km/h at 8000

100km/h at 9000

110km/h at 10000

 

and like I mentioned a while back, I cannot redline the bike in 5th gear, it just won't go past 10500 or so.

really thats good i wanna change my sporket but don think it'll make that much difference.....how to check sporket sizis it written or must we actually count the teeth

Ermax will be better.....givi one is too short for your height, di_andrei can prove that!!!!

Mersing is a brilliant newbie destination, especially in a small group - first time I went (with fresh P plates) I learned so much about riding, about staying safe, I even discovered 4th gear - ah fatt told me about it, it was a great discovery.

I'm 1.92m and I can confirm that any windshield on a Vara 125 is a waste of money, you will never go fast enough to make a difference, especially if you have a good full face helmet.

I'm planning a trip in December and will definitely go alone if I can find no other takers. I have not locked down the time yet, it's not important because I can take leave whenever. I'm planning to take 2 weeks off and go to Chiang Mai / Mae Hong Son loop, spend a few days over there then ride back or take the train - have to look into that.

 

Broadly, the route I am planning is Singapore - KL - Penang - Hat Yai - Surat Thani - Bang Saphan - Cha Am - Myawaddy - Chiang Mai - (Mae Hong Son Loop / Doi Inthanon) - Chiang Mai and return. If I go alone I will take it reasonably slowly and not ride more than half a day on most days. If others join - I'm flexible.

Hi fellas, just checking out with you guys ("the experts"), on where can i find some 2nd hand varas on sale? Seems like quite a rare sight at most shops.. I'm currently a Gilera rider, and would like to change to a Vara - mainly because I'm turned on by the size of this thing and the chillax touring.. Also, is maintenance a killer - Gilera's is. Haha!

Selling mine if youre interested. Maintenance every 5000km or 3 months. Abt 1.6l of engine oil. Spark plugs up to you. Alternate servicing still ok

Hi guys, I tried motoworld and ahboi's to get a tall touring screen but neither stock and only motoworld said they could order but would take 4 months.... Anyone have ideas where else I could try? Or have one for sale second hand? Cheers
