First voltmeter on bikes... Now how about temperature for bikes too??

Recommended Posts

Seen alot of bikes keep tab of the health of their batteries? But how about the temperature of their bikes.. As most bikes are not equip with the temperature sensors (e.g 125z, Super 4 .... ) Are there any models out there which are good, accurate and affordable?:sleepy:

Sometimes the fan dun werk anymore and anyway old bikes radiator tends to build up the residue which clogs up the radiator and thus the cooling systems on older bikes tends to be less effective and efficient

125z oso don have radiator.... super 4 got fan so don need worry....

can't rely on fans. devices to monitor temp will be helpful like voltmeter. :thumb:

if you insisted on a temp indicator, try Trailtech..

Plug and play set..

IMO, there's not much to monitor..

the only time you monitor is changing another brand of coolant or after flushing your old coolant away, to see if there's improvement in the cooling using new coolant..

but there's still many factors affecting the results..

your OEM meter cluster should come with a temp warning display..

you can actually rely on that..

when that light turns on, make sure you stop riding your bike; or if you are road hogging, ride faster so that more wind can take heat off from your radiators..
