Hmm....

I never use Sports Attack before. Previously I was on ContiForce Max, and the wet performance is good, as in predictable. However, ContiForce Max makes nothing smaller than 180/55-17, but that's not an issue as you are interested in Sports Attack, which I believe is a great tyre because it is developed after the ContiForce series.

What I hear about "Street talks" is that the compound is very soft, but that's only what the 1000cc and above are saying. When it's soft, it square off fast, but you think it's a problem on your baby blade?

They have ContiForce (non Max) and ContiForce SM (Super Mortard- street/track use) for your bike size. Contiforce was reviewed as very lasting like BT020, but grip hella better, and no doubt the SM seems designed for SuperMoto, it could be used on Sportsbike as well.

Pirelli Diablo or Diablo Corsa? Diablo is a sporty tyre, whereas the Diablo Corsa is more suitable if one goes track occasionally. The touring one is Diablo Strada. Also a good choice if you choose the Diablo or Strada.

BUT SportAttack, will be my choice. Cheaper, since got ppl parellel import (not that it's lousy), and I like the wet grip (will slide if you try to get low, but very very progressively, and I probably got onto the slick portion on the sides of my ContiForce Max that day, ha ha.....a bit crazy huh? I forgot it was after rain and I try to hang off my bike, kekeke!!!). Is it too soft, I guess you will be the judge.

when it comes to rubbers the softer the better in grip correct??

i'm quite comfortable using 2 sets for whole year so mileage doesnt really bother

me that much

i was talking about the pirellis diablo ( grip as priority )

not strada - touring tyres less grip

not corsa - dont do track ( old liao balls shrink )

the conti sportsattack webby pic k5 almost parallel with track looks

Generally, softer compounds would give better grip, but your bike not very heavy, so I really would not worry too much about the rubber being too soft.

Importantly, these rubbers are sffordable, unlike the Sportec M3 which is expected to be $400 a pair at least, even for the 400cc.

Actually, Diablo Corsa is also suitable for street as it's a Street/Track tyre, and Sportec M3, Dunlop Qualifier followed suit as it's easy for riders who goes track once in a while for the fun of it. Just for info lah.....
