win 7 shared calender issue

hi guys

 

recently i moved from xp to win 7

i want to ask , when i send out invites to my colleagues , they can see the invites on their own calender , but on my own lappy,

under shared calender , i cant see it being updated on my colleagues calender even though they say its inserted in their calender.

 

makes me feel that it is win 7 issue .

but the I.T guys say its user issue

Are u referring to calender in outlook? Which version?

win 7 to xp have calandar but cannot be shared

office outlook have calandar n can be shared

depend on how it's configured, i suspose using exchange server, perhaps ur server dont support the newer version. i know older version of exchange has some issues with newer office. it best to know what ver of office u're using vs the rest, server version, how u access: vpn, internet, intranet etc.

Seems like the user set the appointment as Private. Right click on one of the appointments and see if Private with the lock has a little box around it.

just happen to come across...you found your solution? you need to provide more information like which version of outlook? Using cached mode?
