Because once you have cable, the competition globalised already, advertisers are aware where to advertise, plus internet marketing. So mediacock lost in twilight zone now, dont know what to produce to pull in the big bucks, sex cannot, politics cannot, religion cannot, propaganda can, what ratings you expect sia?

The series is finally over. Must be a relief to those who hate the show. For me, hopefully there will be a Season 2...

Problem is, Singapore productions.... or rather MediaC0ck crap.... have to meet the Gahmen's and MITA's BS standards of wholesome family crap-tainment which must put SG in a good light, put the home team or army in a good light, espouse family values and all that boring crap. Good guys always win 100%, never fail even once. Bad guys are a bunch of bungling idiots. That kind of crap.

 

Rather watch foreign shows. Don't say Hollywood or Euro shows. Even the Japs and Koreans... and even the Thais.... make better stuff than us.

 

All we have are those stuff like Hong Kong serials. All about family drama and sagas. Fuccking yawn-able stuff.

Don't you see the entire motive behind airing the Taiwan series "Ai"? Coz Mediac*ck can't raise their standard any further.. that is

why they have to bring in some sack sucking Taiwan series to make them look acceptable. Even people with mental disability

can't take the looong-winded Taiwan series...their metal disability down-graded further to mental disorder....everytime they turned

on their tv...wtf still the same actors, same background, some farting debate. Finally when the show is over...I am very sure

everyone is glade to see the Mediac*ck logo again...This is some sorta cognitive-conditioning man.....

I used to disagree when I was younger. I used to perfer watching local dramas compared to those foregin ones.

 

But recently, everything is too predictable. You know what happy ending you are gonna see at the end.

 

Wanna improve it? Simple.

 

Add in sexual elements, sexual humor, crude language, real horror elements, sad endings.

Look at 2 and a half men, alot of sexual humor and hot bodies, they managed to draw millions.

Look at My name is Earl, they lasted for serveral seasons.

 

Say what you want, but at the end of the day we all know, sex sells.

ps: I am not asking them so show porn on TV, its just that all prime time shows are too decent. Really decent.
