<Enquiry> How much money to bring for a 3D2N trip up north?

planning to go either Cameroon highlands, Kulua Lumpur, Genting, Malacca.

 

Roughly how much money to bring ah bros? i've never gone further than JB before so im kinda noob here

think thru daily meal expenses,mode of transports & kai kai & it will help u est spending for the trip.

Check:

 

1. Hotel

Either book hotel online in advance (pay 1st) or bring cash and try your luck.

Weekday should be approx rm100+/- per night and expect rm150+/- for weekends.

 

2. Petrol

Go google map Malaysia and calculate the total distance intended for your trip.

Then divide by your bike Fuel Consumption (FC) will be your petrol volume needed.

Multiple by the price of petrol for Ron95 is about rm2 per liter and you'll get the amount of $$ required for total petrol.

Add rm50 for spares.

 

3. Food

Makan in MY is cheap if you don't fancy nice restaurant. Rm50 a day is more than sufficient.

 

4. Others

Movies, shopping, etc... you have to budget yourself. * Sometimes I set aside rm50 a day for these.

 

Bring along your ATM card. Last choice option would be to draw some $$ from any atm that display the same logo as that behind your card. Some admin fee (a couple of dollars) would be levied per transaction, so minimise the need and draw 1 time enough.
