Flame me not guys :gun:...for I'm gonna ask a duuuhh question..

Ahem.. :slapforehead:is there any way to improve the riding comfort of a pillion on a thumper?

The thumping of my zee is making her feet itchy and her butt-bone hurts from the hard seat. So... any bright idea or good'O remedy to ease the vibration on the footpegs and her seat?

I know I know.. 2 obvious solutions are to change bike or to change girl.

I wish to keep them both, so help me God?

get a car and keep the DRZ.. but COE a bit crazy now..

if she cant "suffer" with you now.. how can she do it after you two get married..

no offense, but this is reality..

for the pegs, try wrapping with rubber cushions, DIY..

Seatconcept's a little over my budget, so I seeked help at Eugene Saddledry.

When it comes to customisation of seats, I've not seen better service and understanding from anyone else.

He tailored my seat exactly the way I wanted.

Shall not share his trade secrets w/o his permission, but my wife is a very happy pillion now.

We were both pleasantly surprised with the change in seat comfort.

Feels softer, less achy for the butt bone, a lil lesser vibration felt.

So... She's a willing pillion now.

Thank you Eugene!

If you ask me, no local shops will be able to match the quality and comfort of Seat Concepts. The difference is in the form. Seat Concepts forms are one moulded from a singular piece unlike the cut & paste job by the local shops. Because it is moulded, the form can hold it's shape better in that it is possible to increase, to a certain extend, the surface area of the seat without the need of a larger seat pan.

Seat Concepts sell only the form and cover, so you will still have to get a local shop to wrap for you.
