Okla joking je. Try check his steering cone or change the wheel bearing.

As for rear tyre if there are starting to shred. Pls change it. Highly suggested for safety reason.

 

Good one snail...yeah i have always advise them to change to BB, luv this bike....we found out the caused....tyre dia ade paku, dah lembik thats the cause of the heavy steering and tyre shredded....lepas tampal...all back to normal....i learn new things today....thanks anyway...

Bro rok_yantzen, according to the parts catalog for year 1997 to 2002 (downloaded), the engine oil filter part number is, 15410-MN9-013. Of course, i might have the wrong info. Any bros please comment?

 

An oil filter needs to have the proper filter micron size, to fit that particular model, to effectively filter out particles. Any other oil filter, having the same threads and diameter, being able to fit into many different motorcycles, might not have the proper filter medium micron size to filter and protect your engine. Though nothing might happen, short term, but long term damages might occur. My 2 cents.

 

From what i know bb oil filter is slightly longer than super 4..but what i read from the cbrxx forum,honda no longer makes the oil filter for bb..they only make the shorter one for s4 for all its bikes model..its compatible, dunt worry..only difference is the bypass valve opening pressure in the filter. The bypass valve will open only when the filter is clogged,it allow unfiltered oil to pass thru. Unfiltered oil is better thab no oil rite...

 

If i'm not wrong,short s4 filters have an opening pressure of 14.5psi, the bb one is 16.5psi..one good tip is to attact a strong magnet near the filter body to attract ferrous metal shavings and prevent it from clogging the filter element.

Ya bro..few roads i've tried and syiok is kahang highway,kota tinggi to mersing..jemaluang bends..road to jeram toi waterfall..bukit tinggi..genting..karak highway..batu ferringi simpang pulai to cameron..sang lee to fraser hills,fraser hill gap..fraser hills to kuala kubu....Wahh really miss those places..

Well guys, personally, in terms of engine oil filter, i'm going to use the K&N engine oil filter, KN-303, since it cost almost the same as an OEM CB400 engine oil filter. Just a personal choice.

 

My 2 cents worth opinion.

Only way to know whether yr oil filter is good to look through the hole not the glory hole......ahhhh
