Not much except for some very minor details, like

1) Obvious 750 has a bigger cc

2) Colour scheme difference

Sometime there are also some difference like for example the K6/7 model, the fork colour is different. If not wrong the tubing for 750 is slightly bigger. Overall there isn't much difference to shout about. Just a bigger and smaller cc bike.

this is what i read from other review

750 is more powerful than 600 but not 1000

750 handling is better than 1000 but not 600

so it is like in the middle

example like if u cornering 600 need to maintain at high rev to get out of corner fast, where 1000cc doesn't for 750 is more on the mid rev will do

i would prefer 750 over 600 anytime =/

anyway there is some people in other country would trade their 1000cc for 750cc because of more involving

I had owned a K5 600 and K6 750 before. Seriously speaking, the only time I felt 750 is more superior than the 600 is during trunk road/track riding and at top end (abv 200kph).

Mainly you do not need to drop gear that often to built up rpm as compared to 600 as it is naturally more torqey. Yet it handles like a 600 due to same geometry setup. However if you ride on normal straight road, a 600cc can picked up faster than a 750 due to the fact, 750 always ride at a lower rpm than a 600. It only after 200kph then you see 750 is catching up. Personally compared this finding with K6 GSXR750 against the 06 R6.

When I buy the 750, I have very high hope for it. But then actual riding prove me otherwise. I felt 600 can do what the 750 can do with more shifting and maybe longer time to reach top speed. However I do not know how much the new 750 has evolved. I heard the K1~3 750 is the beast among the 750 series. And hopefully the new 750 will be like the old 750. Having said that, I will still take 750 over 600. But give me a 1000cc anytime!

sometime too much power is also bad, 600 is more suitable to run in a city as compare to 750 or 1000cc.

talk about ride-ability 600 is much better going round corners than 750 or 1000cc bike.

motogp was using 1000cc b4 switch to 800cc, comparison 800cc was able time lapped faster over 1000cc on the same circuit.

of course, needless to say on a straight 750 or 1000cc is much faster but not able to stop faster than a 600cc.

wow i find all your posts very useful. but just one question,

in terms of practicality i assume the 600 is best? (correct me if im wrong)

considering that roads in SG is flooded with traffic lights, pedestrian crossings and what not

and also fuel consumtion too i assume yields most out of the three?

On the contray, I would find 750 more suitable for City riding as it has a higher torque so you do no need to shift gear that often. However it is not a big issue unless you have a chance to ride both at the same time because it is only then you can feel the difference. If not, you will just change gear when neccessary. Fuel comsuption is about the same for both.

ohh okay, thanks for your input! cleared my doubts! :)

most class 2 sportsbike owners will agree that for road riding you will hardly feel any diff between the different inline-4 jap bikes of 600/750/1000, coz practically speaking on the road you cant stretch them to their limits in terms of speed or cornering.

there is no "best bike for the road". lower cc inline-4 engine easier to tame for road purpose but requires more gear change and is much harder/rarer to access its true power. higher cc inline-4 engine harder to tame for road purpose but much more torque so doesn matter what gear you're in, less gear changes and its full power is always felt. decide which of these is best for you.

neither is it true that a 600 is lighter therefore better handling. i have felt an R1 feel lighter than my cbr600rr despite the R1 weighing ~10kg heavier, due to the geometry. and while i disagree that a 600 outcorners bigger cc, the discussion for road experience is really moot as these bikes' full cornering prowess are only proven on track by highly skilled riders.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!
