no lah the transmission oil change liao...but don know they change with what...Anyway you went to buy the transmission oil and engine oil from where? Me looking around for cheap deals then intend to change the oils myself for the subsequent servicing milage

Bike shop normally will change your transmision oil wif 75W-90 grade oil. but i prefer to stick wif manufacturer spec 85W-140 hypoid. transimission oil i can share wif u, cos the bike onli use 100ml each time. castrol R4 should be Fully syn engine oil rite? so fast u change to Fully Syn

yah ...change to full syn cos think better ....the guy say new bike should use full syn better for engine....don know how true....notice that you had an extra meter on the dash board ..is that a voltmeter ?

Yes. It's a volt meter, come together wif bike. As agree by the bike shop.

just want to post my fuel consumption and check whether it is normal...

 

First bar --- 30km

2nd Bar --- 70-75Km

third Bar --- 110km

Fourth Bar --- 140-150km

Last Bar ---180-194km

 

I realised there is quite a noticeable difference between refueling while on main stand or side stand. While on main stand, able to pump more but then have to always park on main stand for the first 20-30km cos if not the petrol will overflow..It happened to me the second time I went to refuel....

 

Then I realised that if I take the expressway to sch, then I able to clock ard 20km more...rather than bukit timah road which is full of traffic lights...so starting and stopping frequently really drinks up alot of petrol in my case...

 

Then wonder whether the RPM can be adjusted..cos last time for my sp I used to adjust the rpm myself to a comfortable level..But for joyride..I don even know how much it is going at and where can I adjust it...

hi... i just brought a second hand joyride200.i found out tat the previous owner never do any servicing at all.The mileage now read 7200. here i got some question to ask u brother k?i need to do all e servicing like engine ans gear oil change,filter(if any),belt and bearing or anything else? how much wil it cost? plase advice. hopr to hear from all of you brother..a thousand thanks to al first.

Your fuel consumption same as mine lah. cos u nvr put main stand when pump petrol. tt y did not pump fuel fully. FYI, i always park using main stand.

 

have not adjust RPM myself yet, maybe when u go TH service next time can check wif them.

i think most important just change engine oil & transmision oil. can go Tai Hin for service. Inovator hv service there for ard $24. oil filter just need to wash & clean onli dun need to change. belt change shld be ard 12000km. if u got $$ can change oso lor. Let us know how $$ if u intend to change belt. cos so far like no 1 here change belt yet.

hi guys... for the belt it cost $50 to $60. for engine oil change every 3000km for mineral oil n 6000km for synthetic oil... u'll need to change the transmission oil every 12000 km...

hehe sorry guys for transmission oil change is not 12000km, correct mileage is 5000km... but is better for u to change every 3000km cos is only 100ml of transmission oil inside the gear box. due to wear best is to change every 3000km.

if u are trading in your bike, u need to scout ard 4 the best price. u can try ban hong, mah motor or the 1 at serangoon. New bike should be ard $5.6K. If u are not trading in your old bike, think u can call Kenny, he can help u.

do you need the service manual ? I have scanned a complete copy but the size around 5mb so you will need a big size email. Give me your email then I send the file to you. There is alot of details inside so you can read and you will know what to change when to change....

Wow... been receiving messages that the Bukit Batok motodiam that has many models of motor cycle and scooters on display in the showroom, is not a good place to buy from...... huh? something must be wrong.... have not been there for quite sometime..... and so much changes.... hmmmm....
