FYI. the last time i went there. they told me they dun sell direct to user. they mostly will recommend u to go their dealers. If the sell they will also be selling the bike at high price. But u still be able to view the bike there, or buy parts from them. further more they will be able to tell u more regarding their bike then dealers. As for servicing, they told me they do it at another workplace. (Dunno exactly where is it.)

It's OK wif me. Even if they hv machanic but price ex$$ also might not hv ppl go.

I only know must change gear oil,engine oil and spark plug.

Dunno this bike got air filter and oil filter?

If have how long must change or wash?

At 300KM. change engine oil & gear oil. Gear oil i use Royal Purple Max-Gear 85W140, cos most bike shop only hv 75W90. I prefer to stick to what the manual

recommend. i change my plug 7000km cos i felt difficult to kick start my

bike. (dunno that's the cause for difficult starting, hv been using the plug for mths.)

Their is no oil filter to change, just clean it when doing oil change at +-3000km

interval(also depend on type of oil u change).

the air filter is on the left side where the side stand is. need to remove some fairing to

access the air box. so far at 13600km i still haven't change yet cos look quite clean.

I had problem in using kick start for my bike as afew of my frds also try but still cannot.

 

Another problem with my bike also is that when moving or braking, there is often hv a irrating noise. Check with bike shop they say it okie but to me I find that something is wrong. ANyone can help????

Saw a 1month-old JR200 at Speedway Bukit Batok (The old De Xing). Aw, man... . Front part all gone except the speedometer. The tyres go inside body already, probably to impact of accident. The rest (and i mean the remaining rest) needs to be replaced The value of repair... should reach $6-7000 if i'm not mistaken. So, another lesson learnt guys... careful when you're on the road. .

Where u get this Royal Purple Max-Gear 85W140 ?The location of the motortiam.

What kind of engine oil and spark plug u use.Where to get them?

it not from mototiam. i found the website when searching for 85W140 oil.

pls call up the Co cos they might not hv stock. i bought 1 bottle ($16.85 i think) still haven use finish. tel:67360192. they used to be at bukit batok area.

not too sure wat the sound.... but it those rubbing noise that u can imagine needles rubber against a metal.... tat kind of sound... when braking or moving also hv.

well, i guess i need to hear it before I can tell you anything. I may wrong also. I got experience with CVT since I rode skipper for a few year b4.

My bike is new one... riding for half a yr n the milage is abt 7k plus... not sure but now it had been more noise than b4...

The metal pcs at the exhaust pipe also got broken before..

I drop the bike when i start riding but it had been afew back... me working??? I had went to bike shop n ask n even change but they say no problem with my bike.... but the noise is getting louder.

ask shop to check your clutch roller bearings n see if it still useable. SYM products have a 1 year factory warranty, less the payable service charge. Let's just hope it's not your con rod or cylinder block.

Hi guys and gals, i recently jz got a new joyride in feb 05. how u guys feel abt the bike?? i saw posting claims that milage can reach 28km/ litre....i only managed abt 22 to 24 km/litre...personally i feel that the scooter very dangerous or unstable when travelling above 90km/hr...anyone feel that too?

I guess yours must be the new EFI model. Ours is non efi, so our standard milage per litre is about 26-27km

This bike is a gd bike for me. I hv rode this bike up to malacca for holiday.

FC at 28km/l is achievable. FYI i m only using SPC 92 when in singapore and

BP 97 if i went in JB. so far i do not think is dangerous to travel avobe 90km/h

even with pillion but do keep a longer distant with the vehicle infront of u

for safety reason. Ride safely and ease up on the throttle abit u might be able to

do 28km/l also.

 

For calculating. i normally travel to 200km+ den i start to top up my petrol.

everytime it is about 7litre and the petrol already start spilling from the small

vent. i do keep track of my travelling records so far ave is ard 28km/l. Except

for the last trip to malacca, i calculated that i only managed 22km/l cos i was

travelling 100km/h above most of the time.
