 9v battery ????

i did measure once direct from the battery terminal it reads about 13-14v

And i try changing my phone using the 12v socket (rated 180watt max) no problem leh

The batt is a 9v batt. U can take out and have a look.. Seen it when i try adding a air horn. The owner manual also states that GTS200 uses a 9v batt. While the GTS250 uses the 12v batt.

what i understand from the manual was the 250 and 200 is having a different mAh of Ah rating thats (higher for 250)

Ok based on the label there is no indication of voltage

but it is a 4000 mAh battery

Model name (i think) GTX9-BS

re-confirm with multimeter reads 13-14 volts engine off, 14+ volts when engine on

maybe have to check with SYM agent

Ok while flipping thru the manual

All the bulb are rated at 12v (maybe it can operate at 9v, but all the light will be very dim)

The 12v socket was rated at 12v. I don think there is a stepup transformer to step up the 9v to 12v. And those 12v socket adaptor (charger etc) don really work under ~11 plus minus

Further more for a 9v battery to charged to ~14v is about 55% increase in voltage and mantain the level there which is quite "power"

Maybe the GTX9-BS makes us though that it is 9v and GTX12-BS will be 12v.

My 2 cents thought

lolz i saw afew Gts today..i tink one evening at pasir ris park.

Its getting really popular!..i'm pretty much amazed as well as i saw like 4 04/05 R1s today, and 1 seems like a track goer. And to think that i've Been riding for more than a year but have barely seen more than 3 before(lol maybe ride too fast nvr notice the vehs around me :cheeky: ).I also saw a Scarab with a nice silver box on CTE!

btw CCK and Scarab, the addictive will increase your comsumption slightly for the 1st few top ups. THis is written in the MANUAL

-for a used car, more smoke is expected up to 3 to 5 full tank treatments, due to the effective removal of the engine carbon deposits. engine oil and filter become so dirty rust from fuel talk is cleaned up and collected so , clean change the fuel filter and pump, engine oil and filter, to restore performance. increased fuel comsumption is expected during the initial cleaning period. f2-21 may increase engine idle RPM up to 30%. Older engine without automated rpm control can be reset easily by a mechanic to save fuel and lower the engine heat. check radiator is in good condition.
