SBF SYM Cafe 2007

I've just had my box fixed just now . Not really ugly like I guessed lah. Looks quite okay. Only thing I noticed the box is a bit 'slanting' to one side. Must bent the holding bar slightly later. ALso noticed that the bracket is not so strong. Cannot really put heavy weights on it. Maybe it's because of the holding bar is a bit too long and as such, not so strong. Anyway, at least there's a box on the bike.

fr wat i know, service warranty given by the agent is for unlimited mileage for a yr.

 

though if u hav any prob, go back to ur shop, n the'll get it done. ur shop will feedback to the agent if its genuine prob...not caused by wear n tear

Something wrong with your RPM meter?REdline at 13.75k RPM ar

 

 

BTw is there a pillion back rest?i tink the box cannot support the pillion's weight.

And i also think maybe our bike need heavier rollers..the RPM goes up pretty fast but not the speed.

Yes there is a pillion back rest from kappa. The dealers should have it. If not can get at Southern Motor or Mah P/L.

No.. Wat i meant is that my RPM meter when on sometimes will self check sometimes will not. I told them bout it. ( and i think it's a common problem as they say quite a few bikes have this problem.) So they took down my contacts and say when a new board in stock they will call me go and can have it replace.

Dun think he was refering to the box rest. As the pillon is still resting on the box. And if the box cannot stand the weight, got rest also no use. And it cost $40~!

Think he was refering to a seprate rest from maybe from the support of the back of the bike. Slightly infront of the box.

And ytd i went to ah gua lane. In hoping to find kappa box rest(hope its cheaper there) and if they have after market air filter. But sad to say, i wnet to those shops that specialist in cubs and sp,kips. None there service scooters. Hence when i ask 1 shop if he has the filter, he tried to smk me out asking me to get from sg and can only stock filter. Saying after market cannot fix. (Pengz, dun have say dun have lar. mai say can nv get lar). Then i saw a friend there he say if want to do scooter better to go in during office hours. As most shops there open at that time. Thinking of going there to see. Cos i think i ever saw a malaysia bike that looks like joyride. But its in a different branding. And all malaysia scooters ARE FAST~! Want go see wat they can help us in.

hi guys...pardon me for posting this. i notice lotsa ppl selling off their gts 200 after a mths or 2. any known prob with the bike or these ppl bought on impulse?

Its so hot i could hear cracking sounds after i park my bike.

well bro, i dunt c there's many selling off their beloved GTS.....xcept for 1.

 

Maybe he hav some personal reasons to sell, juz like other bikes.....

Guys, i'm heading for Penang with my Gts tomorrow evening.... will b back in sg on monday evening.

 

I'm sure i'll meet sg bikes heading up north, but i'll b going there all by myself, to vist some relatives there n some sight seing. I'm confident enuff the bike can tahan the mileage (to n from + sight seing will tally up to almost 1500km)

 

So, i'll take the opportunity to push the bike to its limit, n will give more reviews when i come back.

 

As for parts, i've managed to bought xtra belting,rollers n iridium spark plug. It juz cost me

 

Thz is gonna by my 2nd trip up north ALONE... But i hope i'll get back in sg in one piece.

Have fun. Watch out for it sure is going to be heavy going on the NSH. And watch out for dangerous drivers on Penang itself. ("Right of way" doesn't really exists there)
