hey i did try to warm up my bike... but it seems ard 15min of riding, it happen again... well, tis sat giong down to kallang to let the expertist do the expertisation on the not so expert. anybody going? or c me, just say hi aite. red vxr 06 wif black full face scram helmet with gold decals/ stix.

Rather new to this forum but very very interested in the new Gilera Runner 2006.

There are a few things that i wanna know and help you guys can help me out with.

 

1) How much is the Cost of a New Runner or 2nd hand one if there is.

2) What are the most costly maintenece about the Runner talking about day to day or month to month basis

3) If i am 20 Licence is less then a year about how much will the insurance cost me?

4) Lets say the runner cost me 6k OTR Lets just say. And i down pay 1k, that leaves me 5k left right. Does this 6k include insurance or just the Machince price+Road tax+IU+COE?

Hi bro kan_jason, welcome to the house of scooter.

i will try to answer to the best of my knowledge for you as follow:

 

1) How much is the Cost of a New Runner or 2nd hand one if there is.

It will depend very much on the COE the month u bought and for yr age 20, insurance will be a bomb even is 3rd party. rough guess for new runner 06' for u is abt 8k OTR.

Used runner depends on year make wherther is 05' and below, 2 stroke or 4 stroke, price from 1.5k and up, it depends.

 

2) What are the most costly maintenece about the Runner talking about day to day or month to month basis

new bike u can have a peace of mind for abt 2-3yrs, just some minor parts change like belt, roller, u-clip when u hit certain mileage. old bike u need to spend more, and conclusion is italia scoot is high maintaince, be prepare.

old bike will very much depends on yr luck....LOL!!

where cos riders buy runner to 'lut' and fast throttle, and ask yrself: will you do speeding with runner??

OTR usually mean include everythg, unless the shop say other wise, do let us know if the shop say OTR but not include Road tax+IU+COE.

Just one last question if i may.

 

Lets say a 4 stroke Runner, 2nd hand. How much will it cost me. If i am not wrong its the VRX 200. If someone offers me 4k, that means without the insurance right? If my insurance 1k then to me its 5k.

when we buy used bike, we got to buy our own insurance.

Another good choice if u hv got burget constrain, PGO Gmax is Taiwan scooter, we all know Taiwan is a kingdom of scooter, u can post yr enquiry there too.

hey just wana ask u guys, wads the front and back tyre pressure for 06 vxr?

Guys, I just got my front panel stolen last night. You know..the front part of the Gilera with the logo...the one that can be taken out. The whole panel went missing. Now the front part of my bike is exposed. The coolant tank and wirings are exposed and can be clearly seen. It was stolen at IMM. Just be careful when parking your bike there.

 

 

 

P.S: If you happen to see a Gilera with a missing front panel, remember to wave.

hey, i've changed my exhaust pipe and port, sounds great! aniwae, the mechanic did some adjustment and my ddraggyy problem is solved at the moment... i told i tink the clutch got a bit insane after i went for the first servicing. he mend it...
