Is buying a second hand X9 200 a good idea? I know to a large degree it will depend on the condition of the bike. But generally, what should I watch out for. What is likely to break down and need replacement? What is the most expensive spare part in an X9?

I wanted to get a maxi scooter with a 2b license, the choices seem limited. I have not ridden a scooter before and I stopped riding many years ago, so the learning curve is there with regards to maintenance and servicing.

 

Anyway. Hope you all can share with me whether it is ok to get a second hand X9 200 and what is the reasonable price. Thanks!

1. steering cone

2. Engine mounting (bush)

3. front fork

4. rear suspension

5. Tyres

6. Brake pads

7. Coolant pump (if there's leaking mark, dun take risk (dun buy) because it may end up magnet and magneto coil faulty.

8. Digital meter (on handle bar)

9. Transmission (only can tell by experience)

Can any kind soul tell me how much X9's rear break disc & steering con cost?

Cos this few day i feel my x9 handling like a bit weird, just like having a gap when i turning handle bar...(dont know how to describe) and i suspect this is one of the syntom cause by worn steering con.

There are one shop qoute me $90 for rear disc and i think it is quite reasonable, but they dont repair steering con as too troublesome according to them. So would like to find out how much will it cost.

Yah, its X9 break disc according to the shop owner, but i didnt see the actual thing though.

Juz wondering..if I can de-reg my x9 evo 200..take a x9 250's engine, put it inside my x9 200 and reg it as a new bike?x9 200 faring wif 250 engine?
