Best is to bring someone with years of bike knowledge to survey the bike with you so you won't kena chop until cannot chop..

kaki bukit is best la. alot of shops there. but if convenience is an issue, toh guan ASPOON, HME etc all down there.

I won't go into details but i find that some of the shop that like to have sharp knives, especially considering they are one of the distributor of a brand. Gasket for 18 bucks?! seriously????? the headquarters in bukit batok selling me for 7 bucks after i called and check. Did it myself with gasket paper eventually.

bottom line is to do your research, and bring someone who rides that particular bike along with you if you can.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

Sometimes doesn't work also leh, if the person never ridden that particular bike before he also don't know. For me, you will eventually experience it la, go different2 shop. Now want to rely on a certain mechanic also difficult, you become the mechanic still the best.

i got the same feeling too... just like my old bike, without riding in highspeed wont know got problem, cause everything smooth until cannot smooth... and when speeding... ppl also overtake you very smooth~ -_-ll

did go around and viewing bike, this morning just go toh guan, got 1 FZ1 unit selling 17.5k~ year 08, but a lot of accersories~ rizoma everywhere~ ohline front and real... super tempting to buy alrd until i saw got some oil stain at top of engine~ the boss somemore can tell me the oil maybe from chain or scotoiler~ tell me... what the heck is that~

2nd hand cannot expect it to be perfect ma, if got minor2 things that you can repair on the cheap might as well go for it because overall its still a worthy buy. My case different, nothing wrong with bike, maybe just need a full overhaul but then I had to buang it....twice.
