Eh? How can you weld plastic? Unless it's one of those space-age high-temp resistant plastic, there is no such service in Singapore.

However, you can ask about re-fibre of plastic fairing at most bike shops. Try asking HKL at Bt Merah.

I've seen it done before, overseas. They use some kind of heat source to melt some plastic material to bond back the pieces together.

that is ultrasonic welding.

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

I ordered a kit online, highly recommended by a fellow rider on a US forum. And it didn't cost too much.

I saw the videos and this stuff looks amazing. I'm going to try it out over the weekend.

Btw, the set I got was the "Mini master kit". What the website didn't say was this, might be of interest if you plan on getting it:

Black: contains graphite, carbon fibre. High strength properties, good heat resistance

White: Best adhesion for general plastic repairs

Clear: For transparent and general repairs

I thought they were all the same, except for colour. There's even a reusable moulding bar in the kit that allows you to mould broken off pieces.
