Planning to get the FF5 but heard from some forum-ers says its not really that good. Which shop have the most variety of helmets? The one before making the right turn into Ah Boy's shop?

Hi guys, I'm currently looking for my 1st FF helmet. So not sure of which brand are good. Saw a Zeus(?) helmet at Ah Boy's shop in the afternoon. Not sure that brand good or not. Any recommendations for 1st timers?

 

hey thr, since u're getting ur first ff helmet, i wuld say rather u buy a zeus y not hv a survey. thrs alot of range the likes of nolan, schubert, hjc n many more & those r modular helmet. if i'm not wrong the zeus ff tht u mentioned was a modular helmet(flip-up). well juz my 2 cents.

woo..saw it on motoworld's website and made an enquiry on it for the price and size. looks pretty good man..keke...

 

been looking around so far...hv decided to go to Uma Bike at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2a and Moto World at Kaki Bukit Lane to check out the helmets first. Dun wanna spend too much and also think too long for my safety sake..

KBC TK8 is a good entry level for FF helmet. It costs S$150 only and is PSB approved. You could buy the helmet from the following KBC dealers:

for Helmets, you have to lift up the head cushion padding, there should be sticker stating the manufacturing date (same area where you could find the Snell label if it is a Snell approved helmets)

 

 

for tires, look at the date on imprinted on the side of the tire wall.

sad to say the ideal FU helmet can never be found in the market. Or manufacturers can not make such a helmet because it would kill the sales of all his other models.

 

Smokers, chatters, spitters, riders with hot heads and me would all love light weight FU model!

flip up helmets are great! we refer it as "modular" helmets here in the philippines. it gives a quick access to the rider to open up (the helmet) whenever you feel the urge of a cool breeze while riding - just a flip-up away

 

the HJC Symax model is light as compared to other FU helmets in the market

Any flip up helmet for price of lesser den 200. I am wearing a rjay flip up and wan to get one for my gf. e Rjay feels a bit heavy and the shell is quite big as well. Any better recommendation?
