over-haul advise!

yo bros, just now i heard my bike got like something loose inside the engine.. den go down bike shop, they just in neutral gear ram the engine and say have to over-haul $300+ ! wa lao.. my bike costs only $500 -_- so i went home and now considering.

 

do u think i should go else where to check?? i went to alexandra cos near my house..

 

its like the bearing or wat loose they say..

must tell wat model and cc r bike -leh. if $500.00 can be quite chia-lat state wen u boght. the repair bill can cost a few times r bike price. may not be worth 2 repair -lor. $300 just beginning , wen the bike open engine at bike shop , more susah problem come out. then u may have to beg the shop to take r bike for free, or scrap lor. this common stolie among bikers.

He's riding a RXK if I remember correctly..Try go other shops and get a second opinion..That would be my first advise..

Only look for AH Hock (Wed to Sat), call before you go. He will give you his honest opinion and advice whether it is worth to repair you bike.

my fren overhaul kr for $700++

but for rxk think not worth la..

bro,look on the bright side.once u have overhaul yur engine.u can use ur rxk till yur coe ends if u practice gd maintenance for it(infact cheap 2t n oil will do.hee)!its a proven bulletproof bike as u noe rite.

 

abt the overhaul,i suggest u get piston(ring too) set,block(if u want to),conrod,gasket set at automachinenary(verdun rd) n get the labour job at jb.it can n has been done bro.dun give early kay!gd luck to u.
