All >>> Guys, the date is proposed so that some of our brudders who couldn't make it for the last Seafood Makan at Rakit for whatever reasons would have ample time to re-schedule their free time to join in the fun and merry!

Hi to all, sorry for the late reply, was busy since I'm back to singapore.

 

Cape Town South Africa, If you can, u must go for this trip. Its entirely different experience from singapore, malaysia, thailand or even new zealand.

 

In NZ, u get to see & ride more beside large calm lake tho u may have cool weather unlike Sin/My/Th. In CT, u be riding very near the beach (I mean very near as 5 meters from water but still on tarmac), edge of the mountain but its a 2 lane highway). VERY LOW Traffic on most roads(my pics tells), Lots of places for off road riding too.

 

I still got better pics to show but unfortunately I left my first batch of pic on my friend's(Patrick) laptop as my hp memory is full. He will send it to me by post on a cd. I shall share it once its arrive.

I must say its different for everyone, so don take my reference as I go alots of places, handle alots of machines, eat alots of foods & drink alots of beer! Beer only S$1 per can, Wine S$6 per bottle.

 

Ok, here is some off hand info before Patrick is here for more, I already created an acc for him.

 

Return Air Tickets direct Cape Town/Sin ~+/-S$2000, If u go in a group of 4, u may get as low as S$1600.

Petrol >> About same as Sin

 

Accommdation ~ R1000 Per night(depends where u stay). Patrick has accommdation too but u must ask him for the price.

In CT/SA, they call Bed & Breakfast, In Asia, we called guesthouse, bacically its the owner's place that offers for night stay but its like a hotel with most of the services. There are not many hotel in CT, & hotel there will be more exp than B&B basically. I think more coming up as WORLD CUP 2010 will be held in CAPE TOWN!

 

ATwin> bro...hw much is the rental bike per day for the GS1200 adv...

Bike >> GS1200 = 1-3days = R1500/day, 4-6 days = R1200/day, 7+days = R1050/day

>> GS1200 ADV = 1-3days = R1650/day, 4-6 days = R1300/day, 7+days = R1150/day

Go thru Patrick, u may get better deals.
