Yamaha 125z or Honda SP

hello riders,

 

im 19, just passed tp, looking for a 2b bike. i have set my eyes on this 2 bikes. would like to know a few question. my budget is 3k. (include insurance and all other cost)

 

1) what are their insurance like? (heard SP one is lower)

 

2) is their maintenance cost almost the same? (considering they are both 2t bike)

I'm 20years old and my insurance for 125z (NTUC third party) cost $1030. I have a friend same age own SP, if I'm not wrong he told me his is $1200.

 

If you buying from shop, 3k enough provided you do downpayment and installment.

 

As for maintenance, 125z full tank cost about $10.50. Half service cost maybe about $30. Full service about $90. Provided you choose those middle middle price for engine oil, (fully synthetic). 2T can get like $10+ or $20+ also can, depending on your preference.

 

Not sure about SP, but SP maintainance should be higher.

Y125Z. Last production came out 2009 or 2010 meaning spare parts are easily available unlike the Honda NSR SP. Small nimble bike, powerful if you know how to do it up.

SP insurance high because its a sports bike and lotas people are riding it... Want those lower insurance take wave all those. Never owned a 135, no idea how much the maintenance. First year rider insurance cost more, but if you 20 i rather you wait till you cross 21st birthday then buy insurance
