HDD Recovery

Dear SBF-ians,

 

Anybody know of any good HDD recovery service?

 

My hdd makes a clicking, and totally cannot be detected. I need to retrieve some information from the HDD (not HMV though).

As long as your disk in not physically damaged, there is a fairly straight forward recovery procedure. Providing you have the right tools for the job, you can do it yourself and the chances of safe data retrieval are pretty good.

 

A professional data recovery service is an option, a very expensive one though.. I mean VERY EXPENSIVE, so you must think what is more important to you: a few thousand bucks or data.. You would normally need this service if you have a completely dead HDD.

HDD recovery is not cheap. you can try adrc or CBL. cost should range from high 3 figure onward.
