Here the seats... So much better with regards to leg room for me. I'm 1.83. So this set up is awesome.

However after the seat mod, realize the boot open sensor on the dashboard is staying on. Pasted a rubber mount on the sensor below the seat as a temporary measure. Have to think of something permanent. Anyone any solution?

 

If the seat light problem occurs after reinstall of ur seat then the alignment is out. Check the seat is properly secure and seated at the hinge area.

No engine issue at all, early morning start with no problem :)

There are few minor stuff that can be solved by DIY, like the light switch below the seat, hmmm..what else eh..i cant remember any...lol

Hi Guys, do you guys do ur bike servicing in SYM dealer shop in JB before? I use to own a GTS200 before and done all my servicing in SYM dealer shop.

Hi there, does anyone renew the bike insurancef already? Mine expiring end of Oct 2012. Mah quoted me 350 for renewal.

I checked with DirectAsia.com they quoted me 251 Its for third party fire and theft

Hey Sympathisers, I am very interested to get a new or second hand Max 400 BECAUSE to me its almost the perfect scooter. Why?? because its all balanced. Its got 2 rear suspension, 2 front brake disc, 2 headlight (not like my X9 evo , 1 eye jack), good spread of power (34hp). good fuel economy with large petrol tank. what is worrying me is the the number of Sym on sale at the site. I know Sym product like many other companies have their problems and good things but I do not wish to buy a new or almost new scoot and then have to be at the workshop many many times.

I have run through this forum and grateful for it but I guess I have to wait and see.

Need to find out what is the volt at pre engine start and post start. Also what is the normal fluctuating range for the voltage during idling?
