So I went and bought a 12V impact wrench to do my CVT work myself. not as hard as it looks. at least i can be more meticulous than some mechanics who charge $40 and just splash some of MY PETROL on the parts. I can even bring it along with a spare belt on touring trips and change if needed. :)

Confirmed Pro, the working style and steps cannot bluff.

Next time can conduct workshop.

Lai lai who want to sign up.

HAHAHA! this one first time do lei. actually i watch some youtube videos beforehand and learn from there since CVTs are quite similar. so wen i do, i kinda knw wat to expect already. :) now the next step is to try and dismantle the clutch assembly. if i can do that, basically can overhaul the entire CVT on my own. hopefully!

I think Singapore bikes have a limiter around 160km/h, so speedo go up to 220km/h also no use...

Hey guys,

Just to check which bike shop would you recommend for servicing? That has the oil filter and to do some small minor adjustments to the bike??

Please do advise.

Also what kind of engine oil are you guys using? any recommendation and where to get them?

if i remember correctly, some of you guys are using KNN air filter?

What is the model number and would you say its a plug and play? or some minor modifications needs to be done??

Please do advise.

Many thanks.

I go to HJC at Autobay. The mechanic is quite good with scooters.

For engine oil, Motul 300V double ester is smooth for scooters. From same shop.

For both shop and oil, I think everyone had their own favourite.

Hey Maxsym bros, any of your pillions have problems reaching the footpeg before?

My pillion had to sit upright as her back couldn’t reach box, so I installed the backrest. But with the backrest, she can lean back against it, but now cannot reach the footpeg.

I’ve searched for “pillion footpeg extension” but they’re more for extending the length outwards rather than backwards towards the pillion.

Then I’ve considered buying those car neck cushions and somehow tying them to the box, but it seems like a flimsy solution.

What do you guys think?

Think only taller pillion can rest on the box and still reach the footrest.

fast ah! haha. btw ytd my tank was nearing E, and twice during cold start, engine started then died off. had to throttle abit then can maintain idle. suspect it was a bad batch of fuel wen i filled up in GP Esso last week because wen i filled it up wif Vpower last nite, no problem starting today.
