looks good, except that they stuck with the single cylinder design. 600cc single will be really vibey. unless they can balance it out well. still lose out in terms of power and weight to silverwing600 though. so they have to make sure the pricing is done properly. if under 18k, not too bad. potentially my next upgrade.

If you upgrade to the 600 your mum won't even know you upgraded your bike...

Thats the best part. Get same color and retain plate. Woohoo!

Maybe no same color... you know how these automotive companies like to differentiate different version of same model by colours they manufacture...

Hi maxsym riders,

I just bought my bike 2 mths ago. Anyone interested, to go SYM Malaysia for servicing this coming Friday? I have this high winding sound when going up slope. I guess is time to change the belt and do afull servicing. Total mileage 23000km when i bought.

do you think you are lucky if the belt will last until Sym JB if it has already gone 23k km?? even though you are asking fellow sym to follow along, what happen if halfway piak??

even if my bike breakdown on the road, i will find my way to back in Spore. To keep your stinko mouth at ease.

I think MR BIKER didnt mean it that way. What he say is true that if u do breakdown in JB (i know, touch wood) its gonna be a big hassle. And not worth the small savings, esp since the belt more ex (though labour cheaper). U also duno hw well the previous owner treat it. The guy who stretch to 29k was very gentle with it once he exceeded 20k.

well, it sounds more senses when you said it this way. Probably MR BIKER was too hurry, without thinking & send out his comment without filtered. I was not worry abt the cost as auto bike normally costs abit more eX than manual bike. Just like to invite any interesting party to go along if they are interested.

Heard that based on same cc, Kymco scoots cost about 10-15% more than SYM brand new. However, when it comes to spare parts, they cost easily 25-35% more than SYM.

Hence when u factor that in, Kymco actually cost as much as a Japanese maxi. Is this accurate?

Thanks guys. Guess the alternative sources from JB helps ensure that SYM price for spares in SG cannot be exploited.
