LTA on Harley Davidson Exhaust

Hello Harley bros,

Wow, so this J&H pipe is very grey leh, you are actually riding with a legal pipe but they can charge you anytime, cause you can be riding a modified pipe anytime. if one day LTA decided to clamp down all the J&H pipes how ?

 

Is my statement true?

 

Sorry to ask so much...cause I don't want to spend so much money and later have so much trouble

J & H is TUV approved and LTA approved so it should be fine. What is meant by baffle open is to install the manual switch (illegal) and set the valve to open only (illegal)

 

I don't like the idea of the valve opening and closing at different speeds. Changes the back pressure and messes up the fueling. Impossible to tune for since it's not tied to rpm.

 

Personally heard them on a Big Twin though. Rumble is f'in awesome, but the moment the valve closes at idle it becomes a pu55y cat.

Has teach LTA how to see if rider has illegally modified the J&H exhuast

If caught rider will be charge withmodifing exhuast

 

The fine is same as installing illegal exhuast.

So why spend $3500 and modified it and get caught and get fine?

Might as well play with $500 illegal exhuast

I fail my fatboy harley davidson inspection on exhause. They stated that the exhause serial is not tally. How to solve this issue.

Hi, I know it's an old thread. Just wondering are these road-legal exhausts (Remus, Arka, J&H) sound better or slightly louder than stock? Else if sound level are the same, its quite pointless to install.
