Something to share

A question posed by fellow rider........

 

you mentioned that the 0902 is much louder than the Hella Red twin tones(snail type?)

 

i only used the snail type on my bike last time and i liked the "truck" horn type sound.

 

Will the disk horn produce a similar sound? or louder but higher pitch?

 

thinking of using disk horns instead as they much more space efficient and waterproof

Its of different pitching.

Typical myth loud and nice is good. It does not penetrate and most of them are installed facing downwards which only scares the owner instead of projecting.

Only those who have installed understand my explanation.

besides this is the water proof and space efficient.

 

Hope this answers a lot of other fellow rider's question as well as to WHY disc...... WHY not Snail?

U really want to experience TRUCK type horn u should see supertone but I do not think ur bike has space to fix ....

Most of the time i will recommend owners to go back to their own regular mech/workshop to avoid "Chop carrot" incidents.

For those shop hoppers I will give some suggestions though...

hi is it water proof ? cause apparently my newly installed $55 ( HKL)stebel snail horns installed just behind the front wheel sounds like **** now .....mechanic told me its because its too hot ( near exhaust headers) and it got wet .....water spray from front wheel
