You can search for "SG Crosstourer" group in Facebook. Terence is bring it in for the Crossrunner. But I am not sure if it will fit the 2015 model. So far it is for the 2014 and earlier models. You can message him to check

Sharul, you can contact Terence about Palmer windshield adjuster. The red color runner you will see in his post is mine... I am the first CR in the world to own it. Cause I am the first one they made it for and I am the prototype. No regrets with this. you will have to check with them if they can do something for the 2015 model.

Hey Peeps,

I just received my bike 3 days ago. Price adjusted to $29300 due to $5800 COE.

2.jpg

QUICK FEELING REVIEWS - I start with the "bad" ones first.

1. ENGINE IS HOT

- I do not know why the engine is hot. I can feel my pants near the calf area like being ironed. Even my wife feel it too as pillion. The highest temp I hit for the past 3 days was 36degC. Is it because it is a new bike ?

2. SELF INDICATOR

- The left/right indicator will switch off by itself after 20 seconds. I find this quite troublesome if I took a long time to switch lane while riding. But if the bike is stationary, no problem. The indicator will not switch off automatically.

3. TRACTION CONTROL

- By default, it will be switched on at the MAX or 2 bar. So, every time, I need to switch it to 1 bar. There are only 2 selection. 1 bar or 2 bar.

4. NO UNIVERSAL BASE PLATE

- The bike came with 2 side panniers but not with base plate. So if you want to install top box, you need to buy the universal base plate at $388.00. I ordered mine. Will only come in May.

5. SMALLER AND COMPACT

- Just a minor issue, not for me but for my wife. She felt the pillion space is smaller than V-strom. She felt a little bit cramp which she will get used to it.

THE GOOD ONES

1. FREAKING SMOOTH.

- One distinctive feature of this bike is its SMOOTHNESS. No more to be said about this. Just SMOOTH.

2. LED DASHBOARD

- It is quite visible when you are riding with the sun shining on the dashboard. It is visible.

- Big button. Easy to press.

- Everything is digital.

3. RIDING POSTURE

- Riding posture is high, wide and comfortable. It reminds me of my time as MP Outrider. Quite similar feel. No need to change the handle bar.

- It helps in my judgement riding with the two panniers.

4. ALL IS FUN AND GOOD.

- I could sense it is a corner monster but I could not push it because of the new tires.

- Acceleration is so freaking powerful and smooth. The moment I cross 110km/h, you could feel the bike is "taking off". I have yet to test the V-TEC.

Overall, I think I made a good switch. Within my budget. Got the looks. Stopped twice by other riders asking what bike. They thought it was the new Varadero 1k. The only thing that getting on my nerves is the hot engine.

Hot engine.. You will get used to it...

You meant the bracket or base plate? Bracket do a search online... Can get cheaper... Base plate, I got 1 to let go. But you need to find the necessary adapter it for which ever top box you want...

Tanarthur>>> It is the whole stock base plate with the flat "platform". Apparent the bike doesn't comes with it. If I buy it, the side bars above the panniers need to be removed to install the stock base plate.

Hi, just received my bike as well few days back. Was wondering if it is normal, for a few occasion, if not most of the time the fan to be running (activated) when it is stationary (traffic light or carpark).

Got a nightmare the other day, stuck in jam at Wdl checkpoint. The temp rise to the 5th bar but soon after cleared checkpoint and moving, it drop back to 3rd bar.

Sail, it's a VFR engine. Will be hot. Not sure about the 2015 model, but the older models temperature are digital. Stationary of cause will be hot as engine running and no wind cooling it as compare to on the move...

sailhorizon>>> I am experiencing the same thing as well with the temp. I don't experienced that with V-strom. Prolly, it is a new engine. Needs time to be cured. Let's see after few thousands km. We post our findings here.

Tanarthur>>> The bike doesn't come with its stock top base plate. For you to install top box.

Went to M-technik just now and install the bigfoot & front fender extender (whatever it is called).. Asked about the top rack but no stock and coming in soon. Was looking for hand guard but not available for VFR'15 yet.

Saw 2 VFR'15 just now.. One at M-technik (black) and another at Motoworld (red).

Daniel, Better to order online for the top box rack. The rack will come with pillion handle grip. Stock grip need to remove... That is for the 2014 model.

Sail, the big foot need to be becareful. Mine fix already 1 month fly off. Best can solder the foot to a plate then 2 more plates clamp it together. Or make sure got place loctite on the screws...

I dont particularly believe in tank bra anymore. Tank bra will deteriorate. Colour will be dull. The tread will give way. All this happen to me on my busa tankbra anyways. Xp

Light bar, main stand and side box came with the package

Headlight protector... Maybe will go down ann ann n fabricate one. A grill type ones...

Relek ar... This in not a short term bike... Slowly buy all the poison....

Anyways, what exhaust is legal now for 2015 model?
