- Y universal top rack and not original top rack? It looks cleaner

 

- So the small original windscreen aint sufficient? I too thought so too actually... Xp hopefully the adjustable windscreen adapter can somewhat direct the wind better

 

- Headlight protector. The clear acrylic ones or the mesh ones? Where to order?

 

- I will take my v47 top box and fog lights from my previous ride to this ride. Save cost here to spent it elsewhere xp

 

- Thinking of installing scottoiler but imaginations ride wild on me. What if I could diy a "NOS push button chain oiler" Xp Already went to the local hardware store n found parts that could turn a normal aluminium waterbottle to look like a NOS cylinder with matching steel pipes. Would incorporate rc fuel pump and a flasher relay so that It will not be a continuous oil flow. It looks sweet in my head that is Xp

 

- Handguards will be the first item I will go install when I get the bike

 

- Cheap 2 way China camera already reach my door

 

- Will buy 'tap a fuse and fuse block' soon too. Don't wanna mess around with my wire harness

Windshield adjuster can custom make at Bike frabricator if Palmer doesn't have it. Price almost the same but material will be thicker.

Imo, don't get explorer top box... Hinges easy to crack. Trax or Givi outback trekker might be better...

Trax box is known to have water leaks during rain. Hopefully the givi has better design.

 

The system works, it works for almost 2 years on my busa before I switch to scooter juz that I need to jalan2 find parts to make it visually nice.

 

The cost of that rack would be in the region of $205. This has not include shipping (if there is)

 

I brought mine at $350 from wei jie. Its a Lil heavy but very solid. Since its original, its looks very clean

Givi one is good. 3 days back otw from Krabi to Hatyai... Heavy down pour until cannot see the road... Items inside is dry... Original or not still have to be careful. Mine was from HnB and it broke. I thought HnB are able to handle rugged situation. But I am wrong.. Now this Krauser I am using is the same and HnB.. Hope it holds up... I scouted around for mine and seems like if you ordered online, will be cheaper. But since you let him handle all the stuffs then it's ok to pay a bit more. Don't have to handle all yourself...

 

Are you willing to reproduce your oiler? If so, how much?

Hi Guys, just got myself Honda Top rack bracket + Givi Baseplate + Givi OBK 58L + backrest cushion= $1100 from Mah Motor. Good price?

 

Am still waiting for Palmer windshield adjuster & Grip Puppies. Want to try the windshield adjuster first before deciding to change to taller windshield.
