Thanks Bro, comment coming from a ex nc owner really makes a punch! I am set on the cross runner. BTW i went asking ard not all shops do sell the bike. Did any bros here just got the bike?care to share the cost and interest?

Loois motor, speedway, boon siew, asphoon, bike production... Many got from speedway cause they have package for accessories... Price wise search for the SG crossrunner group in FB... Many just got their bike recently. So can give you update...

Imo

Its more to crossrunner will be less stress n more smooth on top rpm

Then the tracer

All boils to wat u want...

Coz in the end, both are not a off road bike n both are also not a sportsbike

No bike is all prefect, the rider needs to know what he wants....

Hmm anyone comparing nc750 and a cross tourer? Senior here any advise?

No fight. For a 750cc bike, the nc has slightly more power than a super 4.looks big n nice, but the engine sucks. If you are not into power, perhaps it will be idea

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Both bikes are more or less on PAR in term of specs, but CR is 4K higher than MT09. CR is 28.4K and MT09 is 24K OTR, quoted 27/5. I tried both and prefer CR, MT is lighter and feel like 2A bike for my size.

CR price is definitely on high side, if I were to add 8K to 36K I could get Yamaha super Tenere with free accessories worth 3K, incl. top/side boxes x 3, engine guard and skip plate or FJR 1300ABS.

Wanna share your thought.........I am a bit lost now. Thanks.

Let say you have the $$$ to splurge. It now boils down to what you want to do with the bike? Comfort wise the FJR is a good choice with power. S10, if you are the adventure type. But is heavier. The CR is lighter and can handle local and long distance ride. Less comfortable than the FJR. FC wise the CR wins hands down...

Thanks for your input, got your point and agree to it. CR is more suitable for day in day out and some touring, can hits 170-180 kph is enough for me. Any difference btw 2013 model and latest 2015? Thanks.

Posted

Yeah, I think if you intend to use it for daily ride and once in a while long distance riding, the 800cc would be sufficient. Can use the extra $ to purchase accessories.

Keep calm and keep on riding ~

Yup.. Need to think of practical wise...

I use it everyday n only like once or twice yearly go touring. That's it

So this 800cc suits me. Can go 200km/h good enough

European side they test bike top speed 230km/h. You must see your set up. If too heavy like mine, not easy to hit 200km/h...

:D haha. At least can adjust my expectation and hold on to my old bike longer. I do see quite a number of pre-ordered VFR there though. Maybe one of it belong to you guys. Edited by yee_cw
