If you want not to have the pop sound, I recommend this website http://www.1000rr.net. There you can find the solution to disable the pop sound.

There is 2 rubber hose on the upper engine casing, that connection to be block then the pop sound will no longer hear. On the other hand bout this MOD is good for you to do the dyno, If not, your dyno will never be accurate. Alot of MOD on the Double R you can find in this website, some MOD are pennyless.

Hi All!

 

I just bought an 06 CBR1000. I am wondering if anyone with similar bikes meet up for drinks and just chat about bikes and stuff.. It'll be good to meet other fireblade riders and go for cruises together. So please feel free to PM me or just reply to this thread.

Race faring u can check at biketec 21 just the front faring at $700 without the tank and tail.:thumb:

Ohlin will cost $1800 and $2004, u can check at HKL:thumb:

by the way before i get my tyres on monday, anybody ever switch to 180's 55 on the rear on their 1000RR and lowered the ride height to match the manufacturer's ride height spec?
