Today's slient mod is a success with total 5 Ninja & one "Z"x9 joining the meetup at the famous Chiong parts Headquarter Blk 31 opp LAB. We have draft out the program for next week & the first quarter of next year.

 

1) Meetup at Bedok 85 on Tuesday ard 8pm. (Kumar in-charge of this event)

 

2) Makan session at Kumar's place for the countdown on last day of 2004. No buka session.

 

3) A mersing trip on next Sunday lunch. (We nominate aqualung to be the Leader & Kman as the last man) Safety first.

After discussion, Captain NOK97 deploy the rest of us to recee the M.S to try out our suspension. Kman apologised for not being to join in this mission as he needs to stamp his passport at Bugis with "Z"x9 niner.

 

No doubt NOK is having some issue with the fork due to the wheelies, but we couldn't catch up with him at all. It was a nice ride to the no man's land.

The ride is on Sunday,2nd Jan 2005.

The route will be:

Meet at Esso GP 0830am

Leave Esso 0900am

On the highway,turn off as you would go to Perling/Pasir Gudang.

At about 32km,it will connect with Road No.3

As there are road works at this junction,there is no left turn.

You need to proceed further on thru' the underpass and make a U turn back

to get onto Road No.3.

This route will lead you to Mersing.

At about 90km,there is a small rest area where we will regroup.

At about 132km,you'll come to a junction with traffic lights,

turn right and proceed to Mersing.

At about 150km,we'll gas up at Caltex(if I remember correctly).

Then we will proceed to makan.

All distances refers to from GP Esso.

If you look at the map of M'sia,it will be pretty straight forward.

Speeds varies depending on road.

Certain sections are straight,and certain sections are windy.
