Hi fellows,

 

I afraid I can't make it to the kopi session. I got food poisoning & got vomit & diarrhea for 5 times now. I have to take cab to work instead of riding. I will leaving the office soon.

 

I let you guys know tomorrow morning if I can make it on Sat night. Sorry! :cry:

OK, a more serious answer now...i guess the best way would be to de-tune the engine (in the same way that the 1000cc Fazer uses a de-tuned R1 engine). Of course, I haven't got a clue how to do it, so maybe a more enlightened Ninja agent could tell you how (or tell me to shut up for being stupid!).

Its not true that more pipes more horsepower or whateva crap ... If it does work on that theory why not have 8 pipes? 2 for each cylinder ...

 

the surest way to slow your bike down is to use a restrictor on your exhaust pipe ... the reason why people change to an after market pipe is because its more free-flowing ... which means it allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster and thus creating the louder exhaust sound ...

 

by putting a restrictor ... it causes more resistance on your cylinders on its exhaust stroke thus robbing you of those precious horses ...

 

If you look at those drag races in the land of the red white and blue ... most of the times you'll find that each cylinder has a independant exhaust pipe and most of the time its straight through but the sound that it emits is deafening ...

 

but by adding a restrictor to your stock pipe can lead to disaster as the manufacturer have done tedious calculations on the exhaust forces thats coming out of your pipe while maintaining within strict exhaust sounds emission of country of export ... it adds un-calculated amount of restriction on the pistons and valves ...

 

and a lighter side ... why bother making your bike slower when you know you cant be the King of the road ...

Put on weight like me then confirm slow 1 every 7 kg = 1 hp Gain/lost haha

just like some over weight bikes need to lose weight like 1 pipe to feel like the kings of the road muahhaa
