how was it like doing sky diving :sweat:

for the first 4 - 5 secs exiting the plane , you may feel like falling but after that you feel like flying and floating which you really are. there are many techniques that skydivers use to move in the air. boxman, delta, etc....

 

it's a great feeling. the late jump i did was during sunset so i could see the sun setting on the horizon, it was magnificent and so beautiful...........but dont forget to check your alti and pull your ripcord heh heh heh or else will see stars.....

 

everybody will fear, but your determination to jump will overcome the fear and it will become enjoyment......

the scariest part is when the cessna door opens (i flew on a small plane good only for 5 including pilot)

 

the wind is very strong and the sound of the propeller/engine is loud.

this is when you must be sure of yourself, your skills, your equipment, your buddy, your pilot, and God......

 

then its check check check and go go go go go go go go gogogogogogoggogog

thanks. really envy that you have experience what is sky diving as for me, i'm afraid of height... btw, whats the average speed while diving

terminal velocity for me about 220km/hr

 

but i can flare to slow down or delta to speed up.....

guess i have try it on the bike and get to feel the air rushing on my body on nsh... :sweat:

you can try this:-

 

ride up to 220 km/hr then let go both hands and feel the gush of the wind hitting you and you body as you seat upright..... that would just be about similar, hoho

in singapore basically only one, they come under skydive adventures at adelphi plaza..... cheers

throttle r u jumping on the 22/23 aug? btw r u regular jumper (usp?) n how many jumps u clock so far? the Jump On Singapore event is the first in s'pore n hopefully they will do it yearly. me now think of a plot to get $$$ from my 'finance minister" hope to c u there

No I'm not in that event and dont have my own rig to jump with.

 

i'm USPA member and APF member but jump only in Australia.

my licence is not current now. my last jump was in 2000.

the experience of flight will never leave me, however

family and work commitments have taken over.

 

now i only seek thrills on the race track when my wife's mood is good, hahaha

same same, ever since married, everytime also must apply for permission for ECA

 

got the $$$ support now for the jump but got to go ask ard for canopy and container. cannot afford the rig everytime also must borrow:sweat: hopefully can do clock my 200th jump n do >8 way n 4 way complete atleast 8pts

maybe you should take a holiday trip to australia and at the same time use the time to buy you own rig. ???

How would it be for those who wear specs? Or can they put on contact lens and goggles over to protect the face when diving?
