thats...internet chatter...

your exhaust is a highly polish chrome...use steel wool u are going to give your pipe a minute permanent scratches...ie result in a dull surface...

polish it with a strong polish like auto sol....if lucky will remove light scatches...

if scatches is deep....thats it...live with it.

I think brasso better. Autosol is way too abrasive.

Try toothpaste. I think it will work. The abrasives in toothpastes are very mild.

i use steel wool and autosol to polish my exhaust. ok leh!

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

Yes. Toothpaste does but it is too light.

I dont know whats the hype about autosol being "too abrasive".

If its rusting to begin with. No autosol is going to make it worse.

Watch out with polishing the exhaust with anything than a paste and cloth/polish brush. Steel wool, fine sand paper or steel brush can damage the chrome. Especially on big surface like exhaust it's clear.
